This is day 230 of my journey to get to a rating of 2000 on chess.com.
This game was a classical dutch and I really missed a few opportunities. I don't know how to make myself more aware in a game, but I did just miss a few good forks and made some bad calculations in the early game. I should have just left my queen protecting the pawn and moved my bishop back to safety, but in the heat of a game you don't think about the logical things. Anyway, felt like I learned a few things from this one! Hope you enjoy!

I think you were amazing but you should play 15 minute rapid instead of 10 minute it will help with more time to think and do not be afraid of your opponent even if his elo is higher than yours i think that you are the best player and i believe that you will reach 2000 elo soon it will take time but you will make it the way you play is phenomenal 👍
Thanks so much brother!! This is very encouraging!! I am going to keep the 10 minutes flat because I'm quite used to it now and I like when my opponent has a bit of time pressure as well! Thanks for the suggestion though!

ooooooffhhh. My heart. Im not sure how I feel about having the evaluation board on the side during the game. i think the swinging of the eval bar during that game also swung my emotions up and down because I was instantly aware of the opportunities or misses. anywho. good luck tomorrow!
Having an eval bar is like having a third eye. You see so much more when you know there is something to see haha
