    I have never had a single situation where the interface or sync was the bottleneck in handling email-it is ALWAYS the content, where responding to the email requires completing its own project.

    $30 monthly? For an email app? No, thanks!

      And not even a free trial! Crazy to charge that much and then not even let you try it first.

      Exactly. I get some ppl have money or maybe work pay for it but as a society , this really shouldn’t be encouraged
      Just like 50 dollar per year subscription for wallpaper app shouldn’t exist

    I used Superhuman for years. I recently switched to Shortwave. For all the admittedly impressive bells and whistles Superhuman has-some of which I do miss-the fact is, the way Shortwave organizes emails into bundles allows me to process my emails quickly and intelligently in a way I never could in Superhuman. Just like with Superhuman's "splits", it takes time setting up the bundles. But now that I have them dialed in. I can open Shortwave and *instantly* know what needs to be done next. I could never do that with Superhuman even with my splits well organized because I still have to click on each split to see what's in it. Shortwave gives me the well-organized top level view of everything that's come in. So where Superhuman has a fast, smart UI, Shortwave has a smart organization that lets me get the actual work of processing emails done much faster.

      Exciting, never heard of it before. Unfortunately a bit off-putting when a product manager speaks in the intro video who is not even mentioned in the "team". Seems a bit US startupish and other languages don't seem to be in focus anywhere :)

      Shortwave doesn't support Outlook or Office 365 which is a deal-breaker for me.

    I can't find anybody who's done a proper product tour of this app. Everybody posts snippets that look like it's from the fucking advert. Just share your fucking screen and show us the app

    I paid and got onboard for a yearly plan and now I regret it. It lacks so many basic features on it’s both desktop and mobile interfaces that it creates inefficiency. Every time i provided feedback they told me they will add this to the features request which never comes. Instead they are busy adding ai which i never use. Some examples: reading interface is limited with a certain width regardless of how wide your screen is. With some mails some part of the mail is even left out of the visible area! You can not attach a mail to an other mail to forward it. When i asked they told me to print the mail in pdf format and then attach as a file … even if i tried their pdf rendering is crap the email was messed up as a pdf unreadable.. so many more basic editor features are missing. Dont waste ur time and money for this app is my suggestion.

    As long as Superhuman doesn't have proper multi-account features, it's honestly not worth it. I have to keep up to date with 4 accounts (which might not even be that much for others) and doing so is just plain stressful, especially on Mac where you are forced to open tabs for each account.

    • @nichlaswesterby5609
      @nichlaswesterby5609 Год назад

      I've got 5 accounts. 3 of them are business accounts and unifying them is a complete mess. Superhuman's approach to keeping them split is part of what keeps me around.
      Amd you don't need to open tabs for each account. CMD+ 1,2,3,4 etc.

    • @toolfinderhq
      @toolfinderhq  Год назад +1

      This is a bit of a pain, but I think I'd be proper overwhelmed if 4 landed in one.
      But I can see you what you mean. Something we see in lots of other apps.

    • @tygi

      oh thanks for mentioning, I also use 4 accounts at the same time and Outlook handles that very well

      @@toolfinderhq As a freelancer I have accounts with clients and they want to use their internal domains. I can't imagine to make everything possible with one address - so multiple mail accounts.

      Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but this does support multiple email accounts. I have 4 of my email accounts set up in one instantiation of superhuman. Just sayin.

    how should I ditch Outlook for this at work?? does it have access to company calendars (exchange)? does it have access to company adress lists (exchange)? does it have access to shared inboxes (exchange)? their features page seems like it's more for individual/private users

    • @nichlaswesterby5609
      @nichlaswesterby5609 Год назад

      No to all of that except adress lists. Booking meetings etc is great if youre booking a single person, but not if you want to juggle availability of several coworkers

      You should just use some campaign software for that if you're cold-emailing or something, though I see how that might not be suitable if you're specifically trying to optimize your active workflow.
