I wasn’t expecting yelmut to work well on light island, I like the new deeper and more choir-like approach they took and I especially like the reference to his usual tone as 1:42
Interestingly enough Yelmut was the original quad for this island before it was scrapped and turned into a magical island

People seem to be weirded out by how Yelmut is actually doung work on such peaceful island but we literally have Sooza, Spytrap and Whiz-bang here already so like come on
They’re still pretty quiet. So when you have the LOUDEST MONSTER DESIGNED tossed onto the quiet island, *and it works* , people are kinda surprised. Not me tho, I think it just makes it more epic.

Yelmet is known for causing ear damage to anyone it encounters. Youd think it wouldnt work on light island.

With Whiz-Bang's fireworks, Drummidary's taiko drums, and Tiawa's marimba, Light Island sounds a lot more festive and celebratory now!
Yeah this fits more with whiz bang's seasonal event since its supposed to represent pride month and stuff.

Judging from how Tiawa Sounds here, if feel like Tiawa could also be the hero that can save Party Island if they decide to put certain monsters on more outer islands!
I'm pretty sure the whole thing with the update is that the fire monsters are sent to magical islands that corresponded to outer islands those monsters WEREN'T on. with the one exception being krillby, who is one of the only two fire quads that was on two outer islands, with the other being sneyser
well, that got proven wrong very quickly...

He has been my most favorite fire monster ever since I discovered DOF back in like.. 2019 or something idk, but his majestic screams was what made him my favorite. And I am so happy that he gets to join Tiawa and Drummidary in making Light Island so much better- and the new VA absolutely popped off!
Yelmut actually came to DOF around early 2016.

Personally I've never been too much of a fan of Yelmut, I've always found it to be loud and kind of annoying. But on Light Island, it sounds almost majestic and it's so good. Well done Light Island, you took a monster I'm not overly fond of and made it one of the best monsters in the song.
I wasn't a fan of yelmut and light island because white Island was just like a preparing song like it's a premiere or something but the whiz-bang and yelmut make this song so much better those who made this island in my favorite list
I’ve always liked Light island from the start, and yet, these three new additions (one of which was once scrapped!) has RAISED this island up through the roof of my favorites list! (Though, not surpassing Sanctum, and Mythical, but it’s up there!)

Yes! It was originally supposed to be the quad back before when Light island was still a Fire Island, and not a magical island.
@@ToastBoastOfficial Light Island used to be called "Fire Fantasia". With Air instead of Light. But that was scrapped to focus on new monsters, the Magicals, an idea that was, believe it or not, though of since the beginning.
Drummidary really drummed up the song with its epic percussion. Just what this island needed.
tiawa is such an underrated monster for me, their presence on amber island and the continent is such ear candy

Huge props to the team for having Spytrap, Whiz-bang, and Drummidary who could all easily sound very similar, play such different and original parts!
I'm annoyed that rare flouress is not lined up the same as common flouress
When I saw Yelmut and drummidary I was scared that they would ruin light island, but instead they made it one of my favorite islands in the game
I remember when this island begun, it was only Kayna, Mammot, Potbelly, Flouress, Furcorn, Flowah, Boskus, and Sooza, to say this island’s changed is a profound understatement. This island now rests in my top 3, including islands from DOF as well
The addition of Yelmut on Light Island really changed quiet a bit about it.
Going from a simple calm, rather somber song, trying it's best to sound happy. Now sounding more bittersweet in its tune.
