I'm so confused about From Softwares choice to balance Holy the way they did. For starters, a lot of major holy incantations require a mild-large investment in both Int and Faith, meaning that most holy damage users are going to need to dabble in both. Damage types that scale with faith exists. Lightning and Fire infusions give faith scaling by default so pure faith builds would still have plenty to work with. For whatever reason, they chose not to give holy infusions int/faith scaling, despite the fact that it would have made perfect sense
Ordovis GS is awesome for big powerful enemies that don't flinch to your hits even if it's charged heavy bonks, such as the Crucible Knights, Divine Warriors, Divine Birds, and Golem Smith. You just need to anticipate a good timing and distance to cast-charge it.
If you are using ordovis greatsword for the ash of war, why would you stop at the two handed strength soft cap? Ashes of war don't take two handing into account, so you won't be optimising for the damage
For the black knife and Maliketh's blade they do get a boost if you use Tiche as a summon. Like you said about the spell I'm pretty sure the weapon skill off those weapons stack with Tiche's destined death effect.
It is worth it, a truly under-rated weapon as the Ash of War is lethal. The are so many Knights in the Caelid swamp, you are bound to get lucky eventually

Holy reminds me of oily which reminds me of when Youwy tied me down on his bed and started oiling me up head to toe before calling 3 men in to let them have their way with me while he slowly reads out item statistics and his pen scribbles as he tries to rank them for his next video

All the faith greatswords just seem dumb. Everyone knows Blasphemous can make you extremely hard to kill but Sacred Relic can clear an entire legacy dungeon without an enemy even knowing you're there and Ordovis' can stagger lock any boss you want.
Not sure why Youwy won't come around to the Magma Blades. Especially now with the Magma talisman and the Oil Soak tear, these things melt just about every enemy or boss with just a few weapon art spams. Magma Shower has decent hyper armor with good timing, does massive damage, high stance damage, surrounds you (good for groups and large/mobile enemies), is fast, and uses less FP than almost every other weapon in the vid. You can chain stunlock any of the humanoid size bosses. Use an Ironjar when you get close and you won't even get to learn the moveset of most bosses. Plus it's a curved sword, which arguably has the best dual wield moveset of any weapon type. It's lighter than most of the vid weapons, requires lower stats than most of the vid weapons, and looks cool. I'd def put it in the top 5.

if you have stonebarb cracked tear running, yes. only lasts 30 seconds but it's enough for phase 2.
@@BigDBrianDeenh's buff also adds more stance damage for 60 seconds. Nice to use after the 30 seconds is up.

The Darkness Ash of War is undisputably outclassed by Soul Stifler and was made obsolete the moment it was released

The AOW from the Black Knife and Black Blade incantation both have a debuff that lowers Max HP for a while and they can stack

That AoW is a roided variant of Rings of Light. Couple that with it's wonky projectiles tricking enemies to roll on strart up they just eat damage.
