  • Today we swap the fuel assembly out on our outlander 800. The bike felt like it was running on one cylinder (if you have a 2 cyl skidoo and one goes you know what I mean) so I pulled both plugs and they both looked good, I did notice the difference in the fuel pump sound and decided that it wasn't getting enough pressure to the engine to run correctly, was a guess but turns out I was correct and that was my problem. This whole swap should have been a simple plug and play but was a complete shit show. Anyways I'm happy the bike is running the way it should tho I noticed when its cold it doesnt idle right and I believe the valves now need to be adjusted (assuming intake valves are off) So I guess it never ends. Hope you enjoy. :)

I'm going to have to do the exact same thing. I have a 2011 outlander 800 and I just pulled the stock fuel pump out, part numbers changed because the new ones superseded the old one I even contacted the dealer same 0766 part number that I bought and it has the angle issue too I have just enough of a lip that I can't put it in and I'm afraid I'm going to break something
