Cassidy's dad in this theory, is abusive. Serial killers prey on circumstance. What if William saw a frequent customer beating or threatening their kid, & saw the first person the cops would obviously pin as prime suspect in their murder--the openly abusive, possibly alcoholic father? That makes more sense to me than him simply being bored. He was being smart; throwing cops off his trail, until everything went wrong & he panicked.

This is a very creative theory, but I feel like it overlooks significant portions of the midnight motorist minigame, especially the dialogues. If this was Cassidy's house, the conversations between the two people would have to be Cassidy's family and if Cassidy is buried in the gravesite it doesn't make sense that the player would be able to go to that exact spot (or would seem there would be some sort of reaction from them about the gravesite) Plus if William brutally murdered Cassidy in her house while another family member was home, it seems hard to believe they wouldn't have heard any of it happen or check on them. Mix that with the fact that the person we play as would have to be related to Cassidy, it would seem that they would maybe react more alarmed to the broken glass and maybe even look inside and would see evidence of the brutality inside. It's definitely a good attempt at trying to piece together what happens in that minigame and I like the idea of it being related to a big moment in the early Afton stories, but the pieces just aren't lining up well for this to be the correct solution.

I mean, in the normal theory scenario, the window was still smashed without anything being heard. I don’t know if I agree with the rest of this theory, but easily William could have lured the child out after breaking the window with a thrown rock, or similar (Scott may have just not included the detail of broken glass on the outside), and then killed them somewhere else. Orange guy does say that they’ve gone to “that place”, which could still be Freddy’s. Maybe William noticed them repeatedly sneaking out to Freddy’s, and that’s how he picked his target

I came here to say the same thing, as much as I like this theory it does neglect the dialog of the mini game, and why Cassidy would possess golden Freddy if
      A. Freddy wasn't there

      B. She was buried in the woods instead of being stuffed in Freddy.

Yeah, there are a lot of problems with this theory that you've mentioned here, plus if William was scared why the actual hell would he KILL SOMEONE, THAT WOULD MAKE ANYONE DO THE OPPOSITE, plus the fact that he left the pizzaria in the suit doesn't make sense at all, especially because it he was to do that there would be too many risks both to his life and adding suspicion and even more so the dialogue fits matpat's proposition is more logical considering the evedence

Even bigger holes. The player character's dialogue entirely debunks this and leads to the fnaf 4 assumption. "He snuck off to that place again." Unless you believe golden freddy is possessed by Michael Brooks or Andrew, this immediately means this cannot be Cassidy, but also, "snuck off to that place again" very highly signals that this is not a murder scene, the "leave him alone he's had a rough night" and "OPEN THIS DOOR" also means this cannot be a murder scene. Even if Cassidy's father was abusive, no normal human being would react this way to a murder scene.

I don't think he was bored to be honest. I think Cassidy saw something but escaped, and he had to cover his tracks. I mean, kids don't always say things immediately to adults - they keep things quiet for fear of getting in trouble. And he needed to cover his tracks.

I think the fact that orange guy drives a purple car (compared to the other cars outside Jr.'s), the fact there's tire tracks at the end of the security puppet game, and the fact that the second half of midnight motorist is called "later that night" all combined is a pretty big slam dunk that we play as william, and i dont see how those details would be interpreted in your theory. still, it's a nice narrative, and definitely not as "out there" in terms of characterization as you seemed to fear it was (although, i think william burying the body could've been as simple as hiding evidence, rather than guilt)

    • @Cryonide
      @Cryonide  Год назад +50

Here's my problems with your reasonings for Orange Guy being William:
      1. I don't think his car being the same color as William's car is anywhere near as important as his skin not being the same color as William's. Why would Scott be consistent with only the color of one thing, and not both?
      2. When it comes to tire tracks being at the end of Security Puppet, and the minigame being called "Later That Night"... While it is true that drove away from the scene in a purple car at the end of Security Puppet, that doesn't mean that "Later That Night" has to specifically be referencing that exact night. "Later That Night" is vague enough to mean literally anything, and I'm of the mindset that it's called that because Orange Guy only gets there to see the aftermath of whatever happened at his home.

    • @michaelhuff923

@@Cryonide "... Why would Scott be consistent with only the color of one thing, and not both?" Maybe because there's now two Purple People so he used the other color connected to the Character so there wouldn't be debates on if it's Michael or William. and "later that night" would only make sense in the context it's tied to one of the other two minigames. and judging by the rain + The Car Color (William owns the only Purple Car seen in the series by that point other then Orange Guy) makes it likely this is after Security Puppet. and no the MCI can't happen the same night Charlie was killed or else it throws off FNaF 4.

@@michaelhuff923 if he was going to change the colour of one of the purple people it would absolutely not be william, william has been portrayed as a purple shadowy figure since FNAF 2. Michael was only ever purple at the end of sister location, as a way to show he was a rotting corpse. Michael would be way easier to change as a rotting corpse could easily be represented by a muddy green/brown/grey sprite. Regardless of that tho, Michael isn't even confirmed to be in any of the 8 bit pizzeria simulator games, so the distinction isn't even really necessary, especially knowing that they're in the past, LONG before Michael even went to sister location in the first place.
It's definitely weird that the car is purple, but I think that William being orange is almost even weirder, Scott doesn't do coincidences, orange is a colour we've never really seen to represent a character before which makes it more likely that he's trying to introduce someone else.
There's also the aspect of location:
      - If it were William and he had just come from Freddy's where he killed Charlie, why was it such a long drive if his child can sneak out and walk there?
      - Some might argue that Jr's is the location the child sneaks out to, and that William came from a full-size Freddy's further away, but if that's the case then why would William be banned from a building that he partially owns?
I feel like it just doesn't make sense to have it be William as it leaves us with so many unanswered questions. However, I will also say that the Cassidy theory leaves plenty of questions itself, like the lack of blood outside the house, how William could move the suit back to the restaurant in the rain without leaving any tracks/lines on the ground, and yes even the purple car. I think a possible theory that could be looked into is the orange man being Henry, I'm not sure if it's already been debunked, but it fits the 'later that night' theme, and could potentially justify the purple car as being some kind of company car... but that's just me grasping at straws.
I still have absolutely no clue what is going on in midnight motorist and I don't think anybody has come up with a theory that doesn't leave us with any unanswered questions. I wish Scott would drop clues and interact with the fanbase again like he did in that charity event livestream about FNAF 4, but for now we will all just forever be bothered by this minigame.

If there were workers or anyone else who had 0 clue about the possession I’d see your point. This, however, is 100% not the case. The Mediocre Melodies & Withered Chica are talking about someone who was *murdered.* If they were referring to Golden Freddy, the phrasing would’ve been something like “I have seen him, the one that’s now Golden Freddy, the one you shouldn’t have killed.” This would be referring to the animatronic.
The voice lines have 0 indication that the vengeful spirit is referring to Golden Freddy himself. If you can find an instance where it is, great, but I don’t believe it exists.

I take this as the child regularly running away from home due to an abusive household. Considering our playable character's behavior and the fact that we drive 200 MPH in the first half of Midnight Motorist, I'm fairly confident in saying that he's a drunk, probably a rather abusive one at that.
I imagine that's why he's banned from JR's to begin with. I wouldn't be very surprised if that's where his child usually runs off to, since we never actually get any confirmation on JR's being a bar as far as I'm aware.
However, if this minigame just showed us the child running away from home again, that window wouldn't be broken. If someone were trying to get *out* of the house, they could just... open the window. This tells me that it was someone trying to break *in* to the house, which eventually led me to the theory seen in the video.

  • @80hd32
    @80hd32 Год назад +17

I think there’s only two problems:
When referring to the child in the bedroom, the person on the TV says, “Leave *him* alone tonight…” and orange man says, “*He* can’t ignore me in my own house.” If Cassidy is a boy, this would be fine, but since we think Cassidy is a girl, this is a bit of a problem.
(also you said this takes place in 1985 so unless the 1985 location is a “Jr” location of Fredbears, this is also a bit of a problem. But if Cassidy was killed in 1987, which is fnaf 2, it wouldn’t contradict since the earliest year we see golden freddy active as a threat is 1987, which is fnaf 2)
Overall ignoring these two things, you’ve convinced me of this theory. It was a very well put together and thought out video, and I think this theory is completely possible.

If it was cassidys house all the dialogues there wouldnt make sense he just walks into a strangers house talks to the guy watching tv, and yells at the person to get out of their room when that would be cassidys family, aswell as the person of the tv referring to the person as a him. And william killing people because he was bored is definitely losing me.
My favorite theory I heard about midnight motorist is that william was an abusive alcoholic causing his wife to divorce him, she loses custody of the kids, and oofed herself, the gravesite is mrs afton. He was drinking himself away full of rage and wouldnt let his kids visit the gravesite, and left the springtrap suit outside there to scare the kids away. Crying kid didnt care and went there anyways since it was raining and the suit had to be gone. He drives his purple car to the bar but the owner knows he shouldnt be there. He sees henrys daughter trapped outside the restaurant and since he is drinking himself away he is angry at henrys perfect family, and decides to kill charlotte. Driving home to his house where we see the scenes off the broken window and footsteps outside. After this he went on his murder spree luring the victims 1 by 1 hiding them in the suits

This is great, I like a lot of this. I've never been fully convinced that the orange guy was William, and I like the evidence that the other mini-games all show the other victims. One possibility though - with the footprints, the broken window, and the motive behind the spirit of vengeance:
Assuming that everything above is all fine, what if Afton were to have brought the Fredbear/Golden Freddy springlock suit with him instead? He doesn't wear the suit at all though, instead he breaks the window, throws the kid into the suit, and a gruesome (fittingly) death follows. William indeed knows what happens with water+movement in the suit, and the suit is the murder tool.
He might even have good motive for this. If he was still exploring possession of suits, maybe he thought that adding soul power to the suit might give his son company, or be able to help him mend? Like his son needed companionship and friends, and this was a twisted way of getting it for him while he was still coping with the idea?
In my mind, the Golden Freddy suit probably has a springlocked kid inside it, with the similar pose and all to springtrap in the cut scene from FNAF 3, as the weird sitting pose goes, with the shaking and all. This just seems like a good way of showing how the spirit of vengeance was brutally murdered and are exactly where they are supposed to be (in the suit springlocked violently). It also adds a pretty good narrative link to William being cornered by the spirits, and 'dying' in the same, though he clearly refuses to die (as does the spirit).
Even the mound of dirt might be related to the crime, either before or after - like it could have been a place to hide the suit to wait for a rainy day, so he didn't need to carry it around in his car or otherwise. Could have also been a spot used to bury it afterwards though, it is not clear from the mini game alone. That being said, Golden Freddy seems more like an apparition/ghost, so its possible its actually buried out there and every time it shows up its just the spirit and the physical suit/body are out there in the dirt still.
Thanks for the great video though, stand up for what you believe and share your theories!

Thanks for the support! As for your idea, I think it's kind of a reach for him to be walking around carrying the suit, but it's definitely an interesting idea I hadn't thought of. It would require him already knowing how Remnant works though, and I don't know when that should happen relative to the 1985 MCI.
I also don't know if he's aware of the fact that the Crying Child is partially possessing Golden Freddy. He was still alive when the suit bit him after all, he didn't die until at least some time later. I suppose it's still possible.
And yes, I do fully agree that Golden Freddy is 100% springlocked, considering what we see at the end of UCN. Whoever's in there got crushed in there, I'm just not sure when it happened relative to their death. But if getting springlocked is what killed Cassidy, and then they proceeded to corner William into getting springlocked as well, then that would probably be the most fitting death for him imaginable. I actually really like the idea of that, I never thought of it before.

Thank you so much for making this, one of my least favorite things about this franchise is that it’s characters are like props for the story, and no one is more guilty than William in this department, but this makes him feel a bit more human, and seems like he actually can feel emotions, and not just “the man behind the slaughter”. He’s still a bit soulless in this context, with his dialogue and how he’s depicted as “robotics wizard that knows everything and is always 5 steps ahead and always has a reason to do things”, but this makes him more like a (sorta) realistic killer, someone who kills for the thrill, and shows that he has problems, and chose to run from them, leading him down the twisted path he found himself on. It’s not the most realistic thing, but that’s not a problem with the theory, but the games as a whole

Only real issue is in the Midnight Motorist Easter does "Cassidy" keeps being referred to with male pronouns.
"Leave *him* alone tonight. *He* had a rough day." -Person watching television (maybe the mom?)
"This is my house. *He* can't ignore me like that." -Mustard man
"Ran off to that place again. *He* will be sorry when *he* gets back." -Mustard Man
It's very well possible, but is Cassidy supposed to be a boy or a girl? Did Scott decide to retcon that?

I almost completely agree with a few differences, 1. The mini game within midnight motorist is called later that night 'if im correct' which to me implies that it is after Charles death so that would mean Cassidy was the second death 2. I think the crying child would die after the MCI him seeing Cassidys body in the fredbear suit in the back room being the thing that scared him so bad and 3. William discovered remnant in the fnaf 2 mini game save them 'the one where the puppet leads Freddy around' in witch we see a second set of kids the DCI if you will. so if we put this all together William kills Charlotte then Cassidy on the same night, crying child sees Cassidy in fredbear he gets sad gets bit goes into a coma, the MCI happens, the crying child dies or his health gets worse, William kills 5 more kids in some final hour and says "im done with this time to go to jail" but in British, he sees the freddy walking around gets an idea, tells his son right before he dies i will put you back together. Hope that makes sense my thoughts are jumbled right now.

I'm really into the idea about all three lorekeeper's minigames in ffps shows three most important victims. Charlie the Puppet, Cassidy the Vengeful spirit and Susie the first one of MCI. Ok, I can dig it. But so many things just don't add up for me. Why is the car purple? Afton burying and unburying Cassidy. Almost all texts in that minigame don't make sense. Why should Cassidy run to "that place" again? That tv-person calls Cassidy him but in the next game Scott makes request to make voice of vengeful spirit unclear in terms of gender. What's with the JR's? All that have to mean something. Also we know that Afton used to have rabbit suit without robot parts or springlocks from Help wanted. I think it's pretty hard to walk long distances or to drive in springlock suit so why he can't use normal one?
And there are details that should point that this house is Afton's house. It's a lone house in forest like we see in fnaf 4. Tv-person wears gray t-shirt like Michael in fnaf 4. Orange dude drives a purple car like in fnaf 2 minigame. Midnight motorist is labeled as "Later that night". And then there are twice as many details that ruin that theory... In the end of the day I'm going to think of this minigame as one big easter egg to confusing and infuriating lore of fnaf 4.

Although I have to wonder, what is the point of the dialogue that the orange guy says when he sees the broken window? "He ran off to that place again. He'll be sorry when he gets back." Is it just a red herring, Cassidy being a trouble maker and their father assuming that they misbehaved and broke the window, not that they were murdered? Because it would feel weird, to put so much emphasis on a character we've never heard of before and is only sorta related to the story, right?

3:34 I would consider this a to be a stretch since Scott has been known to choose aesthetics over consistency on multiple occasions (making Phantom Chica be the only Phantom not to be based on her FNAF 2 Counterpart, confirming in Dawko's Interview with him that he designed Toy Chica with a missing beak purely because he wanted Toy Chica to look more uncomfortable and scary in her attack mode compared to her stage mode and giving Springtrap an entirely different redesign in the form of Scraptrap that is never explained and simply cannot be explained because it doesn't make any sense how he has an entire different endoskeleton, how his white flesh/bones can now suddenly be seen inside of the animatronic and how the withered parts make no sense when comparing to Springtrap).
However, your theory also omits all of the dialogue/text from the minigame which really doesn't make any sense if we consider your theory. It really just makes your entire theory sound like nothing more than fanfiction.

Honestly this makes sense, especially with it tying into the Give Gifts minigame in fnaf 2: The main four can be done in any order but Golden is left until last because they weren't in the pizzeria it also makes the 'Later that night.' scene label be later the night of the MCI and Susie's death and not Charlotte's which makes sense even if poorly explained along with the rain (I've seen people say the rain isn't important and not explain why it's there.) Just found your channel and I think a lot of your takes are super interesting! I love the connection between the orange dude and gold signifying Cassidy like in Princess Quest. Taking a view contrary to the commonly accepted answer is always such a gripping way to make new breakthroughs. I also really enjoy the "past, present and later that night" placement of the minigames in relation to each victim. I had a few thoughts that I wanted to share while watching your theories. If the suit used to leave the prints in front of the window was golden freddy instead of bonnie, William could have used it to stuff Cassidy's body in after the murder, causing Cassidy to haunt Golden Freddy as they should. This however, would remove the reason for William to potentially bury Cassidy in the woods and raises the question for why he would use Golden Freddy instead of Bonnie as he normally does. I like the idea that this minigame doesn't specifically take place directly after the death of Charlie, but if it is a separate night entirely, why is it called "later that night" ? What other event would be significant enough to be considered "that night" when this minigame could have been called anything; "Driving home," "Run Away," if not the death of Charlie then what took place earlier that night to make the following events important as well? But if the player is a relative of Cassidy in this minigame, it's the only time we've seen a character related to them. If the orange guy was this new character that is only intended to be used in this minigame, then what was the purpose of including Jr's or the dialogue of the orange guy not being allowed there? Why is this information given to the audience if it's not necessary to telling the story or something like that? It just seems like an odd detail to be made into a red heiring.

In the context of just behind the house and the grave, this makes sense. It makes less sense when you remember the yellow guy (supposedly Cassidy's father?), Junior's, and 'He's had a rough day, leave him be tonight' + 'He's off to that place again. He's gonna be sorry when he gets back.'
Though in the thought of if this WAS Cassidy's death and her home, I have a bit of a better idea of why her death was supposedly more brutal than the others and why Golden Freddy is just a slumped over ghost - that being, Cassidy was stuffed into the suit ALIVE similar to Carlton in the Silver Eyes, but during lock-loosening rain. That grave would be where the suit (and Cassidy) was buried, hence why
    - You never see GF in a pizzeria even though it should still be operable as an animatronic after employees wearing springlock suits was discontinued.
    - Golden Freddy's suit isn't in the storage room with the spring bonnie suit (if it had been, we'd have 1.) seen it during Afton's death minigame and 2.) found it when the Fazbear Frights workers knocked down the false wall and found Springtrap.)
    - GF behaves like a ghost and is unlike any other animatronic mechanic in the games, jumpscare included.
Bonus: GF twitching in the UCN ending can be seen as Cassidy struggling to get out of the suit.

Willy took note of this, put on the bunny suit and catered to her misfortunes just like how he did with Susie. Cassidy, wanting to escape from everything, willingly broke out of the house with the rabbit to find happiness. This however will only result in her being mercilessly betrayed and slaughtered by what she thought was her friend, dying alone in the woods.

I appreciate trying to find an alternative explanation for MM, but this has got wayyy more problems than the traditional interpretation.
We know for sure that Cassidy went missing inside Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The newspapers in fnaf 1 state it explicitly. 5 children, and those are Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy and Golden Freddy. You could try arguing that Charlie is the fifth kid that went missing, but no. Charlie died outside the pizzeria and William made no attempt to hide the body. The puppet breaks down next to her, and there's no way it dragged the body away or anything. Most likely, Charlie's body was simply found the next day. And we know that the missing children's bodies were never found.
It also cannot be the crying child, because the incident that killed him was public. And he also died in a hospital later. Again, there would be no missing report.
All of that means Cassidy was 100% intended to have died inside the pizzeria, and that was the last place their parents saw them, hence reporting them missing within Freddy Fazbear's pizza, leading to the place being investigated.
But really, the biggest problem with this theory is the idea that William killed Cassidy right there, in their house and the father didn't notice at all. What about the blood? It was supposed to be a really violent murder. Instead, the mustard man just assumes the kid ran off to a place.
You can easily save this theory if you give up trying to explain the mound of dirt and assume that Cassidy DID run off to Freddy's with William after being lured out and got killed there. Maybe some witnesses saw cassidy with Spring Bonnie and that's why the disappearance of cassidy was connected to the restaurant.
It's still a little weird that William would do this, but you could find ways to explain it. Maybe the children need to die near the suits in order to possess them and so William needed to lure Cassidy to the restaurant to let the Fredbear suit get haunted. However all of this assumes William knows what remnant is already at that point, and that's arguable.

An interesting theory on what William was doing outside of Cassidy's house is that Cassidy somehow witnessed William kill a child or multiple ones in the safe room (most likely one of the MCI) and because William noticed her, he decided to sneak in her house during the night, kidnap her, kill her somewhere outside and then burry her under that secret graveyard, to not risk Cassidy telling someone about his murder. This adds up with Cassidy often visiting "that place", Freddy's that is, to go look for her friend(s)
This theory has close to zero evidence but it's a cool one nonetheless. It actually adds some depth behind Cassidy's murder and makes her being the vengeful spirit in ucn less random

The first four of Toy Chica's murders all involve inviting her victim to her house. "Luring them" inside. But her last victim, she went to HIS house. I genuinely think this is what Scott intended.

Hi so topically I don't watch FNAF videos to figure anything out, especially since the meaning of any given thing that happens tends to change whenever a new game or book is released, but this theory kinda sparked something in me again. I think the only thing that's missing is the motive, why would William go after a kid in their own home? See I'm not content with the " he's just bored" answer, 'cause it seems lazy to me. I personally think William kills kids that remind him of his youngest son out of frustration that he hasn't put his kid back together and/or resentment that other parents get to have their sweet, innocent children in their life. However, Cassidy was different, she reminded him of his eldest son Michael. Michael was the one to kill Williams youngest son and in his father's eyes he's a complete monster. William tries to target the girl, but before he can her family leaves. Pissed off, he decides to follow them making up a lame excuse to leave himself. He follows them all the way to their house where he waits awhile before scoping out the house to see which room is hers. From there Cassidy spots him, making eye contact and right as she's about to yell for her parents he lunges at her! He then brutally murders her, letting himself be as violent as possible. After the fact, he feels guilty not for killing her, but because he knew that he wanted to do that to his eldest son. He then proceeds to do with the body what he does with all his family problems and berries it as far down as he can. I know my theory relies more on assuming what William is thinking, but with everything we know about Charlie and Susie it's just what makes the most sense. Charlie is crying outside of the pizzeria and Susie is crying because she found her dog dead. Both are implied to be prone to tears just like Williams youngest son was and because of that we can assume the other two before Cassidy were as well. Other than that I think this is a great theory and I can't wait to watch more videos from you!

Your reasoning is actually rather interesting though. I've been considering how William feels about Michael for a long while now, I always found their relationship to be... strange, and not nearly talked about enough.
Repurposing the idea of William not being guilty for what he did to Cassidy, but moreso because he did to Cassidy what he wanted to do to Michael... That's actually a really interesting thought. And considering that William sends Michael down to the Sister Location bunker, probably under the impression that he would never come back... Yeah, that's actually kinda genius. Your take on William's motivations are actually fantastic.

Overall I like the theory. But what is the reason, why that minigame is called "later that night"? That's definitely for some reason, so what happened earlier in that night in your theory? Also as someone mentioned earlier, I'm not quite happy about the person in grey + orange guy referring to a he, but that was already discussed in another comment here. Also even if the orange guy is not William Afton, which I am actually not decided on yet, he is most likely connected to him as his colour is the opposite from purple on the colour wheel. So naturally one would think of some sort of counterpart, which would be Henry. But that makes no sense. So yeah, not sure about that whole part. AND in my opinion the footprints must lead away from the window, as you see only one trail and not one going in and one leaving. So your theory has still some flaws, but I like some ideas of it. especially the observation with scraptraps feet and the approach we don't play William Afton.
Edit: Only possible explanation in which someone entered through the window is, if he entered, before it was raining, and left when it started raining, because you can probably only see the footprints, because the dirt got wet.

    • @Cryonide
      @Cryonide  Год назад +3

With the minigame being called "Later that night", I'm of the mindset that it's because this minigame takes place *after* the death of Cassidy. Most people think that it means this is after the death of Charlie because of the rain, but I don't think that's solid enough evidence for me to agree with it.
As for the character being the counterpart of William due to their color... I don't think that *has* to be true? I mean, it's certainly possible, but that could also just be the character being a shade that somewhat represents the color of Golden Freddy, since that's the suit that Cassidy ultimately gets stuffed into.
And the footprints... I think the lack of glass on the ground and the footprints being right outside the window *has* to mean that the window was approached from the outside. I suppose it *could* mean that it started raining *after* William already broke in, but that brings a lot of other things into question, so I'd have to take a deeper look into it before I can say that with confidence.

I definitely agree it has to do something with cassidy I actually do agree with a large part of it.
One thing I also found interesting it's that the Midnight motorist is supposed to give more motive to Cassidy what I mean by that is that even before he died is brutal way
His family life wasn't that amazing his father was drunk you couldn't even assume abuse.

But I do agree that William wasn't always a villain he's just a father one thing that that confuses me is that why would William go after him specifically yes William has the motive to kill but why him specifically the kill him. The missing children incident can be explained by well it's easier he just has to grab them you know kill them stuff them in suits wait for tomorrow to take them out. But with Cassidy there's more steps and there has to be some way for cassidy's spirit to be attached to golden Freddy he can't be attached to it if he's buried in a grave. That means william had to take his body all the way back to the pizzeria. So my thought is cassidy was the first experimental kill to see how remnant might work.
But I do like to say that I liked the way you took the theory more as an actual murder case.

  • @paperoven
    @paperoven Год назад +1

Good theory but there’s a few problems with it. First, ‘Cassidy’ is referred to as a he by the person sitting down in the chair. Although we usually let this slide because golden Freddy is male, this was before Cassidy became golden Freddy. We also know that Cassidy was stuffed into the golden Freddy suit, not buried. References to a child being stuffed in golden Freddy are also made in fazbear frights when a child is shoved into it as a prank. Although this could be referencing the crying child, in that same story they come back to the pizzeria to find a different kid also in the suit meaning that they were both stuffed inside. The toe count also isn’t a very important detail here as the vast majority of all the Fnaf Animatronics have 3 toes. And lastly, although this is definitely a pretty big stretch, the car in Charlie’s Fnaf 2 death mini game is purple, just like the car in midnight motorists so it would make perfect sense if “later that night” was in fact later the night of Charlie’s death. Yellow is also commonly used for William too because of his yellow spring Bonnie suit.

There's a possibility that in UNC it's referring to Golden Freddy, but another possibility is that it's referring to Cassidy the spirit, which makes more sense since Golden Freddy is simply just not the vengeful one. It's Cassidy that makes Golden Freddy vengeful. And for the second reason, later on he explains in the video that William buried Cassidy, but then after discovering about Remnant, he could use Cassidy's corpse to, you know, test it. So, as for the later that night thing in the purple car, I'm not sure.

interesting theory, but this completely contradicts how the spirits of 5 main cast get in the animatronics and the FNAF 2 minigame of the puppet giving life to them, which is a really consistent piece of evidence that has never changed.
Also, the fact that both in this minigame and the charlie's death minigame it's raining, the minigame is called "Later that Night", that both William and this orange guy drive a purple car and the Jrs part of the minigmae, it all connects far better with William than a random character we never saw. Like why would Scott show us the orange guy not being allowed into this "Jr's" place if it's a random character? Why would Scott show us this character's abusive or at least controlling tendencies over their child? Why would scott bother to add the line about the child going to "that place" again and that he "would regret when he comes back"?
I like your theory, but you are 100% just picking up the evidence that you want for your theory and ignoring the rest of design details.

The next kills are made in the springtrap suit because he dosen't have any other option. This would put Cassidy in the second kill of Willian, as is stated in the fnaf 2 mini game that he kills Charlie without any suit.

To be fair, i always thought the footprints were left by either a shadow animatronic, or golden freddy/fredbear, who, at this point, was already possessed by bite victim IMO, since theres only one set of animatronic footprints, almost as if whatever was standing there appeared out of nowhere and we know that rhe only animatronics that can teleport and appear out of nowhere are golden freddy and the shadows.(Since fredbear's UCN model is canon, and is similar to classic freddy's desigh, we can assume that fredbear wouldve also had three toed feet like classic freddy) Also, the yellow man saying "he's ran off to that place again" after seeing the broken window, and the footprints running off into the woods, suggests that whatever left the footprints was probably the runaway person and not afton, and that the runaway person has done this before, since yellow guy doesnt seem surprised by any of it. Additionally, we also know that the aftons have a home in the woods, similar to the midnight motorist one, as evidenced by the fnaf 4 title screen and curse of dreadbear, and i think the fnaf 4 house is the same house in this minigame. Overall, i think it makes more narrative sense for yellow guy to be william after charlie's murder, as it establishes a reason for William to murder charlie, as he'd probably been drinking very heavily that night, and is very distraught from the death of his son, further fueling his jealousy towards henry. (Yes, i think midnight motorist and charlies death happen after bite victim's. And that the runaway person is michael afton). Just my interpretation though

Well, when it comes to pronouns, Cassidy is also referred to as "he" in UCN by both Mangle and Withered Chica.
There are two ways you can take this. First off, Cassidy is a gender neutral name, so it's entirely possible that Cassidy *is* a male and goes by he/him pronouns. On the other hand, this could be seen as evidence for the theory that the Vengeful Spirit we see in UCN is actually Andrew from the books. I don't know much about that character so I can't really speak on the validity of those theories, but it's something to think about.
Though, for what it's worth, I don't think the actual identity of the character changes the theory. Regardless of their name, I still think that the character that gets killed in Midnight Motorist is the one who goes on to be the Vengeful Spirit in UCN. So as for who it is, yeah, maybe it is Andrew. Can't really say for sure right now.

@@Cryonide so theirs another point for the he/him pronounce that it's refering to golden freddy instead of cassidy since the puppet in ucn also uses he/him pronounce
(spoilers for the books btw)The point of Andrew is also possible but since he's a parallel to cassidy's(or the vengeful spirit's) character since he causes ucn in the books but the stitchline is also not in the same universe as the games for several reasons one is that the pizza plex never expected in that universe and the fnaf 6 location is considered ancient history with the puppet mask even being taken out of the location but theirs also some proof that I've seen that could say Andrew(or a 7th mci victim) is in the games like in the toy chica ucn cutscenes theirs foxy's hook in her bag before she kills anyone and then kills another six people (them being puppet, freddy, toy bonnie, pigpatch, twisted wolf and funtime foxy) but that's the only evidence I've seen it's still interesting tho

3:21 don’t worry, that isn’t even the most agregus design choice made to a springlock animatronic Scott has made **COUGHING HEAVILY IN UCN FREDBEAR‘ S GENERAL DIRECTION** (you wonder why, well I’ll point out the big three reasons 1. He has 4 cartoonishly proportioned fingers instead of the five slender fingers that spring trap and, logically speaking, all springlock animatronics have to account for the human that can just climb inside them 2. He has an endo 01 endoskeleton, as seen in certain frames of his jumpscare, this makes no sense because endo 01 endoskeletons dont seem optimal or even plausible in design to be able to compress against the suit to fit a human inside the suit, especially considering that endo 01 models seem to only have basic movement components and the endoskeleton itself as it is implied that they are general use endoskeletons that can wear any costume compatible with them since the animatronic devices related to the cpu and character specific functions seem to be installed in the suits themselves, which is why they are dangerous for humans to wear. 3. He literally looks like a slightly edited fnaf 1 location bear model animatronic and looks nothing like how springtrap, aka spring bonnie his brother in springlocks, and instead looks more at home with the fnaf 1 cast.)

Ok alternate take. Instead of planning to kill Cassidy While wearing the spring bonnie suit. They decide to do it in A Fredbear (golden freddy suit maybe?) suit because if someone saw the Spring bonnie suit that would draw too much attention. So they hide in the bushes waiting. It starts to rain they realize that they should get out before they die, Cassidy then sees Afton getting out of the suit. Afton sees her then breaks the window. Then Afton Does something different He Takes the screaming Cassidy out into the rain far away from her home, dismembers her. And shoves her in the suit, Laughing as he watches the springlock failure While Cassidy is slowly dying inside of it screaming for help. Then Stomps on the chest of it to finish The job. Except something was different this time around. The suit somehow starts moving as if it was alive towards Afton. He panics And starts destroying it(somehow). Once it is destroyed. He digs a hole and buries it. He was Shocked and horrified at what he discovered that night and it gives him the idea of trying to recreate it. Then the rest of your theory comes into fruition. End of theory. Great video

What if the suit was spring freddy. It makes a lot more sense than spring bonnie since that is the suit Cassidy inhabits. They go on to possess the suit before their body is buried in the gravesite. It could even be argued that the Spring Bonnie suit was damaged beyond repair because of the rain which could have led to it not being used any longer. Less plausible, but you could also make the case that the damage to the suit is what causes William's son to die in it when it's preforming on stage. It wasn't just a malfunction but the suit was already damaged. That could also explain why both crying child and Cassidy are in the same suit.

I really like this theory even though I might not be fully convinced by all the details. In my opinion, the yellow guy is a drunk abusive father of one of the missing children. The JR's location is just a random bar/restaurant and the green guy is obviously a bouncer who refuses to let yellow guy into the bar as he is already drunk. I believe that the scene we see in midnight motorist is the aftermath of one of William Aftons kidnappings. It directly matches the High school toy chica "puppet" scene where she says about coming to his house and breaking the window. The detail that Scraptrap has full feet and Springtrap doesnt fully convinces me that the animatronic footprints belong to Spring bonnie, it makes so much sense. I always thought that the fact that it rains in the minigame doesnt mean anything as we only see the aftermath, it might not have rained when he did the kidnapping, but your explanation also makes sense. In the high school toy chica scenes the last scene says that the kidnapping went wrong. Now as the scenes dont go in order of the actual kidnappings judging by the fact that the (6th) "pigpatch" scene depicts the murder of Charlie, (2nd) "Wolf" depicts the murder of Susie and (5th) depicts the midnight motorist scene, I cant tell which murder specifically it refers to when she says that something went wrong. I thought that Charlie kidnapping went wrong but now after watching your video, it makes a lot of sense that the midnight motorist scene went wrong as it might have started to rain. Lot of people dismiss all of this by saying that the name of the secret minigame "later that night" obviously refers to the Charlie murder, but I think it might very well mean that it is the aftermath of "the one you should not have killed" murder. It also makes a lot of sense why this one is Cassidy (the vengeful spirit) as he grew up in abusive household and was probably brutally murdered. And finally the mound of dirt in the field makes sense. I am not sure it was Williams guilt, I guess he just wanted to get rid of the body. Overall great video with great details.

watching this video I had the weirdest most non-sensical thought, that starts to make a bit of sense the more I think about it... what if purple guy is purple because he's DEAD? like, we know Michael becomes PURPLE after rotting, and is still alive even without any innards because of remnant...
the thought is, what if William is a sort of remnant zombie? even before the springtrap suit he was already undead! "but how would he create a restaurant/work there?" I mean there are a LOT of theories stating that Michael POST-SCOOPING is the one you play at in most games... the only problem they see is that he's 'ugly' and 'bad odor'...
this would explain why the soap opera made to represent his family (The Immortal and The Restless) the stand-in for afton is a vampire, a famous undead, not only that, but one that REQUIRES TO DRINK THE LIFE FROM THE LIVING TO CONTINUE ON LIVING... so what if afton wants to prolong his life, turned himself into a remnant zombie, and to not deteriorate/die he HAS TO kill people... that would give him a MOTIVE to hunt down so many children (but create the contradiction of how those children go on to possess animatronics themselves)

Assuming Afton is here, and that he came in a 3 toed suit, and that it began to rain, and that he exited the suit, I believe Afton was hunting in the Golden Freddy suit that night. The rain makes it too risky to stay in the suit, he exits, cassidy sees Afton, and afton rushes in breaking the window and incapacitates Cassidy. He then takes Cassidy and stuffs them in the spring lock suit and, maybe on purpose, maybe by accident, the spring lock suit goes off due to the rain.
Cassidy is ultimately killed by Golden Freddy’s spring locks, which is why Golden Freddy twitches they way it does in future entries. Cassidy remembers the moment of their death and the macabre dance of death that spring locks induce.
Cassidy would know who Afton is from their many visits to “that place”, the Freddy’s where William afton works and where their friend the Crying Child got bit. They likely became a target due to their memories of the Crying Child amd possible suspicions or snooping around the pizzeria late at night. William afton would know where they live likely because Michael is babysitting them that night. We see him in his traditional grey watching the TV.
Now, when Afton gets springlocked down the line, it’s poetic justice and part of Cassidy’s revenge plan.

Probably the day before night 6 because golden freddy becomes active in night 6 and phone guy said that a child has gone missing in the night 6 phone call (I might be wrong about the time of the phone call). If you can find a solution to that problem I am 100% convinced.

Something just something a tiny little something makes me think that the buried thing is a springlock suit due to the rain since I can't imagine William running around carrying a springlock suit, using a car would be too suspicious too maybe that's golden Freddys suit Wich was buried with the dead body inside or something, that would kind of make the assumption that golden Freddy was the most gruesome murder because of the springlocks later on impaling the child's corpse
After all golden Freddy never had a Endo skeleton so a child's corpse could fit inside easily
The body probably later decayed or something
Another thing that could make kind of sense is William made a hole put the corpse inside put some dirt on it and then put the suit and burry it too, maybe getting almost caught makes him feel regret and he wants to just get rid off the suit. And before someone says "how did golden Freddy get back to the pizzeria then?" Well golden Freddy haunted William so I doubt that being five feet under will stop it.
And the entire break in thing... Come on? Him breaking into a house isn't really something he would do o assume. Maybe the child saw William do a murder or something like that and William had to follow it home or something
