I lost my Dad in 2019. He was very angry with me in his last conscious moments. I was also mad at him because he was refusing to go to hospital so I screamed at him. For past 4 years, I have been living in regret and anxiety of how I failed as the only child to provide everything he desired because he gave me everything I ever desired and I never admitted it. Before those difficult days, things were good for a brief period of few years in our little family. Things were just looking right when I lost my Dad due to TB. After 4 years, your Piano cover has made me feel stream of happy memories and sense of gratitude for him. I miss him. I wish he could see where I am today, he’d be proud. Where ever he is, your piano tune helped me connect with him and I felt his blessing and love after 4 years. Thank you. ❤

I get chills every single time I listen to you play this. This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime songs and you do it justice!
I do not know why some people press thumbs down here? It is a song where a man moanes about his beloved wife which has passed away, where tries to get back the rare moments and where he is terrified about the things he did not say or has missed together with her. All this is captured in this music, the balance between musical heaven and despair. This is one of the best songs of Kate Bush and she is one of the best and most influential female songwriter still living. But Vika's version is even better than the original because it reduces the music to the bare essence of the score. Nothing is hidden in big arrangements, nothing is overloaded. Just the love and despair put into the musical motif, accompanying voices and the bass line. It is already 10 years old but still there is not one note to be changed or played in a different way. It is just perfect.

Can you play "Guide Me Home" from Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe? There is a piano cover of "Guide Me Home" here on youtube and though it is very beautiful there is one note that my ear keeps thinking is played wrong. I don't know how to read notes or play an instrument at all so there is a good chance I'm wrong but when I play the two selections next to each other, the piano version on youtube seems one note off to me.

@odmoa Yes you're right she has more skill and maybe a better interpretation due to her skill, but the emotion presented in UK's videos are simply utopical. I think that UK is better because of his choice of songs that he plays and uploads to youtube. Vika is great but is a bit aggressive, and I think those songs were meant for the guitar rather than the piano.

@neverlastingworld He's very good yes. But not as good as Vika in my opinion. She's a professional classical pianist with much experience, and hours of training perfecting technique, harmony and everything that is required of a pianist of her calibre. In addition she plays with integrity and pure emotion. UKPiano can't reach her in terms of skill, emotion or interpretation. But of course, that's just my opinion.
@odmoa No, because the songs she plays in my opinion, are aggressive and that's not how I envision the piano but the guitar. I no longer wish to argue on the subject. Tks.
