  • Join us in celebration for International Women's Day to hear Jacqueline Cook (B.Comm. 2013) speak about her experience in the growing Canadian tech industry.
    Jacqueline is the Chief Operating Officer at Vendasta, named one of Canada’s top growing companies by the Globe & Mail in 2021. She is responsible for the development and execution of Vendasta’s revenue and go-to-market strategy, with the core mandate of empowering Vendasta’s +60,000 Channel Partners to leverage its platform and marketplace to help over 5M small businesses transition to digital. She played an instrumental role in Vendasta’s $40M capital raise in 2018, and more recently, helped lead Vendasta’s IPO process which resulted in an oversubscribed $120M private investment--with her newborn son by her side.
    Jacqueline was recently honoured as a recipient of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40® for 2021. She is an alumnus of NEXT Canada, where she co-founded and was CEO of a smartphone-based platform for small businesses to customize their own loyalty rewards programs. She is a founding Director of Recess Guardians and serves on the board of Co.Labs, Saskatchewan’s first technology incubator. She has been a speaker at events such as TEDx UofS and has represented Canada at the 2010 G8 and G20 Summits, the 2010 APEC Summit in Japan, and at the 2011 G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit in France.
    Jacqueline has been a recipient of CBC Saskatchewan's Future 40 under 40 and a YWCA Women of Distinction Award. She is an active mentor, angel investor and speaker in Canada’s startup community and resides in Saskatoon with her husband and two sons.
