The moment I lifted it up, the feel of my hamster came back to me.
She passed away four and a half years ago, but I still remembered the feeling of touching her.
It was a strange feeling.
If you have a Gorham hamster at home, please lift it up with one hand and look at it.

こんばんは。来週、4か月くらいの赤ちゃんプレをお迎えすることになりました。
ピクルさんはお迎えした時にすでに1歳こえていたので、赤ちゃんプレは初めてでいろいろ心配です。
はるくんやなつちゃんの動画で勉強しておこうと思います。

わーお迎えするんですね。
今年は市場に子プレ余りの感があって気が気じゃなかったので、お迎えのニュースは嬉しい限りです。
ハルくんを迎える際、私達が一番最初にしたことは、プレーリードッグの飼い方を勉強し直すことでした。
というのも、ぐりさんは腎臓が原因でした。後天的な疾患は飼い主の責任です。だから何が悪かったのかを明確にする必要があると思ったからです。
そこで北米のプレーリードッグの専門家（20年以上保護活動をしている博士）と連絡を取り、色々聞きました。
すると、それまでの飼育方法……特にエサですね……がまるでダメだったことがわかりました。
それらは日本で一般的に知られている方法とは異なり、かなりストイックなものでした。でも掘り下げて聞いてみると、どれも納得のいくことだったので現行ハル＆ナツに実践しています。
もし、お入り用であれば私が調べたことを共有します。
まだハルくんもお迎えから約1年（なっちゃんに至っては3か月）しか経っていないので結果の良し悪しを語るタイミングではありませんが、わかりやすいところで2匹ともやたらと毛並みが良いです。スベスベの手触りをしています。
