Got a new Big River C in the mail. Love this harp. Plays beautiful out of the box. Really all you need. I have been using the Big River as a performance harp for a year now and they are reliable. Will continue with the Big River - they are good enough for playing in public and not real expensive. Like my Hohner harps!
Just bought one ,! Look , I've heard some good things , and some bad things , some love it , others don't ! I'm a beginner , it's like many things when you start out , you pay your money and take your choice , I'm going to work with it and enjoy it ! In a couple of weeks time I feel it's not for me , I can always try a different harp , heck it was only £30 ! But played it last night , sounded ok to me ! Looking forward to moving on and improving with it !
I think the new box is an American thing? I used Big Rivers a fair bit at one time due to being broke and I must say they are a pretty good harp after a bit of tweaking.
Personally, I love the Big River Harps, a noticeable better air flow than their other harps, and play Great out of the box, I perform with them in clubs in Orlando, FL. Jesse Holliday
