Thank you so much for this great information. Question for Alfonso. Do you have any book recommendations regarding Portfolio Managers? What is the best strategy to apply yourself when you just get into a portfolio manager role and are young in the industry? Thank you so much for your response.
Hey, I have a question: I am currently founding a venture capital startup and need a BaFin license for it. Do you know where I can find a fund manager, portfolio manager, investment manager, or risk manager? I am looking for someone who would be active as a co-managing director and co-founder in the startup. I would appreciate it if you could recommend someone to me.
Will have to watch this, about a guy, who buys a load of stocks then gets a commission from the punters he buys 'em for, whether they go up or down! Wasn't there a famous fund manager who did that who worked for Jupiter...?🤔
The video was great, because it was very informative, covered a wide range of useful topics, and gave great book tips. However, Alf exclusively talked about 'guys'. Young guys were the audience he imagined for the video, he referred to his colleagues as guys, and imagined old guys as potential mentors. I am a woman and this poses a problem for me, because women exist in the finance industry. However, if Alf does not acknowledge our existence and erases us every time he speaks about the people who work in finance, how will it be to work with Alf as a woman?
