I loved the darn thing so much, I was devastated when my parents gave it away to the next door neighbors, two years later and bought me a "newer toy". Thank you for this video, It brought back a ton of memories!
I grew up with a blank and gold version of this. Loved it as a kid and still have mine in very good condition. Probably my favorite zord in the series.
One difference between between the JP version and the US version is that the US version had glittery blue plastic where as the JP version had plane blue plastic. JP chrome was also more silver instead of it being more reflective in the chrome in the US.

I was so happy recently to find the Sentai release of this guy, 100% complete, on EBay for a good price, to replace mine from when I was a kid, lost in a storage unit robbery. It doesn't have any clip or port issues, and while I would really like someone like toyhax to release a sticker set for it, the decals are pretty okay. Awesome review as always. I can't wait for the other In Space toys.
100% Agree that In Space saved Power Rangers. Too much change in Turbo and not in a good way. It also gave the "new" Rangers cast a fresh start. This is one of the BEST zords ever. Let's face it how many times do the rangers EVER use the individual Zords - maybe ONCE per SEASON? They always just combine right away - this design made so much sense. This was the Millennium Falcon for Power Rangers
That's what make the megazords, interesting, that you have all this individual pieces that transform to form a cool robot, when is one zord, is basically a transformer, and trust me that's not a good thing, it just makes the toy boring. In this case, the toy is conformed by 2 zords, which is OK.

Re: sticker grip, I've found that using a tiiiiiiny amount of superglue on the underside of the sticker does the trick. It's fixed the wrists of my Dino Megazords.

I love this Zord largely for being a headmaster transformer and as well as a megazord,it’s great we’re getting one again in Dino fury as I loved it In ryusoulger,btw shame that the customs made you get rid of the boxes.
That "explosion" sound that you credited sounds more to me like it's supposed to be the megazord taking a step, which is probably why you're supposed to hold it down and let it play on repeat, to emulate it stomping around whatever city they're saving that day
A thought, to hide the fists in Megaship mode would the ‘boosters’ from Delta MZ as used on AstoDelta MZ work? I’ve not got the toys to test but I wager this could really improve the aesthetics

Always wanted this toy was never sold in my area, luckily some years later in a store that sold bootleg toys, found a white and grey ko version of the Megazord , still have those , got the official one years later
What U like about this toy is that it is the only one that seemingly fits in a Transformers Power Rangers Crossover Fantasy Play Session, Not only it Resembles More of a Transformer than the other Megazords because of it being only a 2 piece Megazord but also because it's Color is more Consistent than other Megazords but it at least for me anyways it Transforms Like a Transformer because of the reasons I have Mentioned. And as for the show it is the only Power Ranger Show that I could Remember Not Using Bikes Instead they Used Some kind of Space Boards, and as soon as I saw that I wonder would they Crossover with the Ninja Turtles, and of course at the time I didn't think that they would actually do it, but they did. But also it is the First show to have Evil Power Rangers in this Level of Caliber.
I've just got mine today and its in excellent condition but mine is missing the sword, shield and gun/boosters/launcher. I need to look for the weapons for my Astro megazord.
It looks like all those minor accessories, the boosters and mini cannons, we the 3d printed ones similar to Etsy, and not the one's that came with the zord. Am I right to say so? Cuz I dont see u mentioning it in the video. Either that or you've kept them in very pristine condition.

Yeah as DJ and Sega Sky suggest, I just find the daylight floods the toy better than artificial can. I don't have a studio so I wouldn't be able to spread them out as evenly. And my camera isn't as good on artificial light.

I had one of these and I remember loving it. The minipla is also really solid for a model kit.
