As a Houstonian, it's never over till it's over. We learned a lesson to never underestimate where the storm will head to.
From Biloxi, MS Katrina was forecast to be nowhere near us and we got a direct hit you never know
They said it was a slim chance coming to Houston and likely won’t head to Houston no and behold it came

You notice when they say they doubt a hurricane will hit a certain area, it almost always hits that particular area.

Like the commenter from Biloxi, we rode out Katrina at the mouth of the Pearl River. Everyone on the television, up till power went around midnight Sunday, was saying the the hurricane would turn to the east before making landfall. It never happened. Always prepare for the worst. (Oh, and Havana is spelled with only one "N.")

I live in West Palm Beach and always have my eye on the tropics. I got more info on this potential storm from you than my local meteorologists. Great explanation on what you think might happen with this thing. But as with any tropical system, it is subject to change. I will definitely be checking back to this channel. Thanks.

It’s almost like they only broadcast in Orlando so that’s where most of their viewership is
Living in a state that is hurricanes or tropical storm prone, is like having cancer. You never know where it’s going to strike, it’s a sit and wait game, the stress leads to ill health.
I believe this could turn into a Cat 1 or Cat 2, in the golf and crossing Florida above Tampa. With upper level winds out of the north, heading to the east. If it gets into the golf it will sit and grow for a few days, before crossing Florida.
Lots of rain not much more too close to us no time to organize.

Hurricane Ian hovered over my house for 24 hours. It was my first hurricane.
You need to stop pointing near my house just north of the Space Coast on your map.
I refuse to experience one again. We're still far from recovering two years later.
People must remember all weather men and women rely on computer information,no one can predict what a storm will be or go,you have to watch development daily and if it's headed to your area then you need to be prepared to evacuate if necessary,just look at the situation in Houston lives were lost and people were suffering,you would've had to be there to really know what those people experience was like.
Basically, to make a looooooooong story short, I won't have to water my plants for a couple of days!! Haha 😂 Price reduction on my water bill!! Now I'll be able to afford a $25 dollar cheeseburger combo at McDonald's! I dig the forecast, bro. Thanks for the great update ✌️🌀

Idk seems overly confident to forecast something days in advanced, one day later and this report is extremely wrong. To all weatherman 2 day forecast at best. All this technology and no one is ever right more than a day in advanced. I’m coming back to comment when and if this thing actually turns into a storm…
