  • Sometimes I need to deliver sawhorses with my car and I thought that how good it would be a pair of dismountable ones. In this video I show you an easy way to make simple and low budget sawhorses.
    Thanks for watching!

Oh yeah, my bandsaw is not too young and has some cosmetic wear. :) The angle setting was 15 degrees.

I couldn't realize how many degrees you cut the heads of the screws. 45°? If not how many? Thanks.

What an intelligent man I was wondering if you could share the dimensions please of everything?

The legs are 90cm long, the shorter square tubes are 1m long, and the longers are 2m long, but it depends to your need. I mostly use as a lond saw horses. The other types of the materials are on the list in the start of the video. If you need some more detail, just let me know. :)

I’m looking for a sawhorse design for maybe a year, this is hands down the absolute best design and most simple!
Can you tell us if there’s any reinforcement you’d add to it?

      Thank You! :)
I didn't add any reinforcement to it because I think it is enough stabile the most of usage. A few month ago I did a big self-supporting sliding (4.7m wide opening ) gate on it, and there wasn't any problem with the stability.

kokmil thank you! I’m about to build it, today or tomorrow, I have 30x40mm or 40mm diameter pipe for the top, thoughts on which would be better?
For the legs, I also have 16mm threaded rod and 1” pipes

For the top I think better to use rectangular tube because easyer to weld the screws to a flat surface.
I used 1/2" pipe for the legs because the 16mm threaded rod perfectly fit the pipe and doesn't allow to move. If you would like to use 1" pipe for the legs, you should make special nut (on lathe) what can fit the pipe and as long as the screw. It can prevent the legs from the big movement. /I hope you understand what I would say because my english isn't perfect/

kokmil thank you! Your English is very good, I’d say perfect!
I only have 1” pipes for the legs, I might weld 2 nuts at 10cm apart using flat band, and then weld to the legs
Thank you again for your responses and video!
