@@LasCrucesNewMexicoLiving I do love it here. We have been so busy moving in there hasn't been much time to get out and enjoy it. It is really beautiful and I'm starting to figure out how to get around.
@@goryburki have A shakes home too. Wait until it starts falling apart. My house is 10 years old . I just had to redo my entire kitchen. The sink fell out of the counter because they failed to mount it correctly and The cabinet doors were all drilled wrong, in the bathrooms - toilet flashings are not screwed to the floor causing the toilets to shift, electric problems everywhere, and substandard garage doors will break every year. Not to mention water damage from a leaking roof because they forgot to use flashing. It passed inspect due to the corrupt city inspectors. Lookout, buyer beware.
@@moe4490 You're going to have to continually work on your house from day one. Every home will require a certain amount of time and effort to keep it from falling apart. The things you mention are not going to be specific for just Hakes Bros homes. It's just the new products and way that they do things. I'm not sticking up for Hake's. Just saying welcome to the home owners club. I've been a member since 1983 and this is my 3rd house.
