The T100 is a Bayer, which is much superior than Trans. Google Bayer vs trans. It Is Fuji’s first interchangeable Bayer with EVF. It has PASM which is familiar to canon and Nikon users.

nina grebenar this is a apsc size camera while the olympus is micro four thirds. i have the xt100 and i totally love it for city photography, landscapes, also took portraits with it and the image quality is really really great
EVF is unusably soft for people that wear glasses. Adjusting the diopter isn't efficient enough. Luckily, I prefer to shoot while using the LCD screen.

I know this is a pretty good starter camera but is there any other ones i can look into as well. Trying to upgrade from phone photography (samsung s10+)
it is a perfect camera and not small at all! it is a huge step from coming from a smartphone and you can buy extra lenses in the future although the kitlens already produces great image quality! I love this camera!

I hope I find a shop where I live when I'm able to get it and get the general feel for these camera. So honestly I cant wait to jump into something more official Urban and night photography is my thing and the 2 mention cameras are within a reasonable price range for me lol
Sir unfortunately there is no video on x-t100 hotshoe capabilities. Like HSS, TTL etc. I'm a flash photographer (non professional). Flash settings menu is very limited in this model. Even after using compatible flash I'm not able to do high speed sync. Can't go beyond 1/250 shutter speed. Kindly make small video on this subject. This information is not available anywhere even not on fuji website. Thank you.

Hi Kate. The Xa5 is more entry level, the X-T100 is mid-level and the X-T30 has a fantastic range of features. If you can afford it, go for the X-T30, otherwise get the X-T100.

Speaking of film simulations, why does Fuji hold back the Acros simulation on some cameras. It's missing from my X-t1 so I thought it was because it had the previous generation X-trans sensor. I heard it's missing from this new camera too.
That's a reasonable explanation, but I guess the cynic in me is wondering if it's just a ploy to get people to buy the more expensive models. I mean, for a long while they said the x-trans sensor was incompatible with IBIS and yet we have the XH-1.
With 24 MP you'll be able to print up to about 33cm x 50cm at 300dpi. And then you can obviously print larger than that if you're willing to go below 300 dpi

Island Pics Acros needs the current processor and an xtrans 3 sensor. Not available on Bayer sensors.

I would recommend the Fujifilm X-T100. It has a much larger sensor than a compact camera like the G7X Mark II.
