- Decent start, 5th into T1 from the 4th row. Tyler Smathers pulled off right away with a mechanical. Rhett Norman led the race for the first lap, ahead of Brad Burns, Luie Zendejas, and me. I got around Luie on the straight, slotting in behind Brad. Brad took over the lead in T3 on the second lap, and Dustin Dominguez put a nice pass on me through the T4/T5 transition. I got around Rhett on the straight into T1, and went to work hunting down Dustin and Brad. After a couple laps, I was able to draft them both on the straight into T1, and ultimately held on for the win (first expert WERA win!).

Stock motor, but the bike felt quick. I also had a good drive getting onto the straight that day.

Is this a r1m or you have the r1m gps for the lap time?
Regular R1. I have a GPS unit (PZ Racing LP400) that hooks into the dash laptimer.
Vasiliy Zhulin cool. I'm gonna check it out for my 16 r1. How accurate was it from the wera times they posted?
It works about 80% of the time, and accuracy depends on the track. Pretty close to the WERA times. But it's more of a self-check tool vs official lap meter.
