As a kid growing up in Arcadia CA from 1975-85 my dad would take me to Santa Anita every Sunday for the races. Back then you could sit in the grass infield and watch and it was amazing. All these years later I can still hear the sounds they made and they rode right by us down the stretch. Also my next door neighbor was a hall of fame horse trainer at Del Mar and he would take me and his son to the track and watch him sometimes train his horses. They were gorgeous animals.
That was a lovely, unexpected, bonus vlog to help fill the Xmas holidays ;-) Can't believe you're flying back in a few weeks... not jealous in the slightest, honestly! ;-) xxx
What an absolutely fantastic vlog series, I have enjoyed every single one of them. The best for sure is the 2 nights we met you at NYNY for lots of gambling action. Safe travels on your Jan trip and I hope you get lots of handpays. And then you can come back again in November to see us 😊
