To respond precisely, there are no toxic birches and yes, you can directly drink the sap when it's still fresh, so without cooking it or something like that used to disinfect food and stuff.

My daughter uses this probe, it is used to feed patients with stomach tube.

I used a special mixture called garden pitch.
This can be found in gardening stores.
Used to close cuts of branches on trees.
