And in Girl Meets Goodbye when Farkle says, “I’ve loved you since the first grade, I always will, wherever you are.” (He has said he loved her since the first grade a lot, paralleling to Cory saying he has loved Topanga since they were 6) They are always looking at each other, y’all need to watch a lot They could have been a nice mirror to Cory and Topanga however in Boy Meets World Corpanga was the main ship while Riarkle is the ship that was in the background that happens to rise upfront (behind the friendship between Riley and Maya of course).
Okay regardless of ship, Evie being a lesbian hits so different because like. She's been raised to look for a man of high social standing, preferably a prince, to do all this feminine posturing. I think the main problem with GMW was that it was too predictable....too "happy ending Disney" like. I really wish that they would've shown a more organic relationship with people with chemistry, like Riley and Farkle
If they would have gotten more seasons I feel like the outcome would have been WAY different. Now they just had to wrap it up with the things they had set up, that being Lucas+Riley and Smackle+Farkle. The show very obviously shows that in the long run Farkle and Riley would have ended up together. Disney just didn’t give them a chance to do that.

That's actually not true. The show ended for other reasons. And a big reason for the UST between Derek and Casey is because their actors Michael and Ashley played to the ship. They put those longing gazes in there on purpose.

Can we just take a moment to think about the parallels between "Rileytown" and "Farklenation"? I'm still salty they aren't canon, they seriously had the best chemistry and honestly, a lot of the best scenes included them as the main characters. They were just so genuine and pure, and Corey Fogelmanis did such a great job playing the "I've loved her since 3rd grade" part, he looked at her like she was his whole world, darn it. Maya and Lucas obviously. They had just such great chemistry. I always thought that Riley and Lucas were so boring and too perfect. I was just never convinced by the two. I'm still salty they aren't canon, they seriously had the best chemistry and honestly, a lot of the best scenes included them as the main characters. They were just so genuine and pure, and Corey Fogelmanis did such a great job playing the "I've loved her since 3rd grade" part, he looked at her like she was his whole world, darn it. Like, can we just appreciate the little glances they both have and how he looks at her every time?

I bloody adore Ben and Evie. They're just such a good ship. As much as I love Mal, Evie just wears her heart on her sleeve and had some of the best character development (in my opinion). Her and Ben just make such a good team because they both share such an open heart and have the same goals for Auradon and I guess, if Ben was off the market, I'd really like Mal and Jay.
