Love your tips Peggy! The proportion one - 3/5 for short people like me, and also the fold over elastic one. 👍👍
Your use of that fold over elastic is genius! I'm definitely going to try that technique! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas.
😍😍😍 That's very lovely & simple but very effective. It gives the tunic to a different level. Thanks so much.
Fantastic idea! We can be trendy and fitted all at the same time!
Great vlog Peggy! I'm from the UK and love your style! I've watch every one! it makes me laugh when I see you sitting sideways on to your overlocker and it's on that little table and you fly through your sewing! (Yes I realise it been speeded up) keep up these great RUclips videos please!!👍❤
This is so great I'm definitely going to try this. I made Kacy's top and absolutely love it and so did my sewing group !!
thank you peggy!! you are my mentor!!!
Thank you so much for the FOE tip! Very Cool and thumbs up.
Love the elastic detail. I fancy trying that. Thank you.
I love it! Gonna have to pick up some bling on my next order.
love that!
Very cute!
Love it!
Peggy, love the look but I'm not understanding the FOE and sewing it down the middle. Is that so the fabric on either side of the shoulder/sleeve area is encased yet joined? I'm not getting how doubled FOE works on both front AND back neck edge, then joins/continues down shoulder. Many thanks.
you got it....the elastic is sewn together, then each side is sewn to the front or back as normal. Great look.....
Does the pick need to b 8 by 10? Can u do this from a magazine size picture
I enjoyed the styling and detail. On a separate note, does sitting sideways with your serger lower than usual give you some benefit that I don't know? Would you recommend it?
Love the pattern. Do you sew knits with a stretch stitch or straight stitch on the sewing machine?
Does anyone make "Tunic Kits" for large size women? I have been in the hospital for a while. I need to find some "Ease into it" projects.
Thanx

Hi Peggy,
Do you flare out the pattern where it goes over your hips since the pattern wasn't designed to go over the hips?
yes
Love this idea! I made a few of the tops and will now try my hand at the tunics. When you added the 12", did you angle it out to accommodate hips? Thank you!
yes
Where do I get the pattern?
Wished it could have slowed down for some of the elastic part.
At the lower right of the video click on the settings icon (looks like a gear). A 'drawer' will open that will include the option of slowing or speeding up the video.
Toooo complicase, isn’t better just mesure the lent I want it?
What is the Pattern?
