you can spend as long as , Elton John does not lose his talent , which remains the same as ever , with its excellent performance , an extraordinary and incredible perfectionism , if I remember correctly the height of his 65 years
SOUNDS GREAT AS ALWAYS, YOU ALL ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL AND GREAT.I LOST MY FRIEND A YEAR AGO AND LISTEN TO YOU A LOT. MY MOTHER WENT TO A UNIVESITY OF MUSIC IN TEXAS AND THE WAY YOU CAN BETTER YOURSELF AT YOUR JOB IS TO PRACTICE EVERYDAY NO MATTER WHAT.I KNOW YOU ARE MARRIED BUT I STILL LOVE YOU AND YOUR LEAD GATAIR. I ALWAYS HAVE CHECKED IN AND LISTENED TO YOU ALL OFF AND ON.YOU GET BETTER EVER YEAR. JACK HECK AND I HAVE HELPED ON AND OFF ,YOU HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB.I APPRECIATE YOU ALL AND YOUR WORK. ITS A TUFF JOB ISN'T IT. STAY SAFE AND BE CAREFULL I AM STARTING TO WANT TO WRITE SOME SONGS AGAIN AND WILL SEND THEM. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS, HAVE A GOOD ONE AND ENJOY. JEANNETTE GREVING
Sir Elton John! I get emotional thinking of my childhood that was so influenced by early Elton John greatness--he took what The Beatles et al from England started and drove it home--rocked arenas, halls, and stereos throughout the 70's like no one else. Always was and always will be a great showman. God bless you, Reginald Kenneth Dwight! And thanks to Davey and Nigel for hanging in with him most of those years. I want Funeral for a Friend played at my funeral--followed by The Who's "Love Reign O'er Me," but that is another story...
Just a thought for E.J. fans who think the quality of his voice isn't what it used to be. I was at the 1974 Thanksgiving night concert at MSG, when John Lennon performed as a special guest. I was 21 yrs old then and have witnessed countless concerts in the last 40 years, but none have ever equaled EJ's performance and the energy from that night. I also saw him twice in the 80's. The quality of his voice may not be the same as it was 40 yrs ago, but he is now close to 70, and the quality of his concerts and music is still excellent. He will forever be considered one of the greatest entertainers in music history.
EJ leverages his talented production team and amazing fellow musicians to avoid awkward moments. Goodbye yellow brick road sounded amazing on this video and it's because he tactfully put the aces in their places, blending his voice in harmonies and dropping out to avoid going out of his current register. I was very very impressed.
Sir Elton John this is still a very amazing concert to see on video I am like a lot of people wishing you would come back to Bonnaroo you made it a concert that no other has sense
Estoy enamorada de su musica me enamore con su musica tenia la entradas para verlo en abril lastimosamente se suspendio me deprimi espero con ansias su proxiima vuelta x argentina 😚😍
I can not think of a time I have not felt good, on the occasions in which Elton has become brought into my awareness, - through music, through the media, etc. ... ELTON has, JUST-PLAIN, always been O.K. ... And the same remains true today.
Myself and my bf got back together after being broken up at bonnaroo less than 24 hours before this and we were both there together for this having the time of our lives... Thanks for posting this.
What makes this appearance so unique is that this crowd is all young millennials who probably never knew any of his music growing up versus the normal senior baby boomers that attend his regular concerts on tour! Great reaction from that young crowd..
Russell I was there and the crowd was all range of ages, one of the things that make this festival so great! It was amazing seeing kids who didn’t really know his music having their minds blown!!! 😁
I wish Sir Elton John would come back to Bonnaroo again there are a lot that’s been not seen in a couple years now and would be cool if he was to bring ones we all love hearing , make it like a Tennessee Woodstock
Because there is only one ELTON; Because after a person has pleased much of your music interest, you always welcome them, just to learn they are still having enjoyment performing; Because you always reach to greet a friend you have not seen in a while, knowing the thresholds you climbed together, the turmoil you exchange, the excitement you've known together (while scraping-along together) rolling-and-tumbling-down the ever-changing road-of-life.
Raised to be a lady by the golden rule, Alice was the spawn of her public school. With a double=barrel name in the back of her brain and a simple case of "Mommy doesn't love me" blues. Those were pretty daring lyrics for 1973. All of Bernie Taupin's lyrics from "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" are just superb. The whole album is like a treasure chest of musical jewels.
Mojo review (among other early positive ones) of the new album Wonderful Crazy Night out 5th Feb: "the piano-playing pop colossus justifies the hype.. if you love pop music, you really must hear this".
After reviewing many of his latest live concerts, I'm kinda disappointed in the order of songs and missing his improvisation stunts he usually does at the beginning of Philadelphia Freedom and a few other songs. Also, where is Take Me To The Pilot where he usually did a big improv there?!?! I'm questions rather I'll be going to see him in Sacramento or San Jose tomorrow or the next night. I'm not sure if I'll go if it's going to be very bland. Not the usual Elton I'm use to seeing! :{
Band sounds great Elton's voice sucks .. Funeral for a friend. rocket man, all the young girls .. .lagging lagging; Ray Price at 85 years old would have done a better job and charged us serfs a fraction of the cost . Greedy rocker you are and you have Davey Johnstone stalwart through it all.
Bonnaroo 2014 was just magical.
The BEST piano player of all time! Sir Elton John...)
I was there to see this live. Best damn concert i ever seen.
best feels in the world! My favorite Bonnaroo!
Aaak MMM d
I was here for this. Best concert of my life. Danced the entire time. Something I will never forget!

God, this was such a good show. I was one of those people who camped out by the stage for 12 hours to get front row and sang every word!
Had seen a live concert of Elton.John in Bangalore in 2002 and nice to see this live video in 2014.

He could stand on stage and sign in American Sign Language and I'd be just as rapt. I simply love him more than life itself.
This show was life changing for me! It was seriously magical!!! ❤️❤️❤️🥰

Seen Elton a few times, he is a great performer. Tiny Dancer has always been my favourite song of his.

I miss Bonnaroo. See you guys next year at the farm
I worked the stage on that show... it sounded great there - this recording is at par though... I was so freaking tired...! lol

This is the piano man I’ll tell all my children about!!
Raised to be a lady by the golden rule, Alice was the spawn of her public school.

His voice has gone way down since he had throat surgery

Alto's Music Lab I agree and I can finally understand why he named his last to our for goodbye to us Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

A very very rare glissando on the piano on Levon. Elton never does it

san jose was one of the best 2014 shows so if you did attend it MAN YOU ARE A LUCKY ONE
Martin William Young Elizabeth Rodriguez Sharon
Elton still sounds great but the music sounds a bit shallow and bland there is no real power in it.
Nigel's drums sound terrible here
fuckin' bonnaroo sucks. how ya gonna gimme feedback on "your song"? won't be making it this year ... although WEEN is gonna be there.
Does not sound like Elton John
