The temporary disconnection came from Putin ordering his officers testing out Russia's own Great Firewall, which is something that was beyond Hoyo capabilities, but consider that both China and Russia were currently in good terms, Hoyo will definitely be able to pass the latest new internet laws that were implemented under Putin's orders

don't worry, Genshin still work pretty good. they probable don't have much time to play since it is almost end of the year and a lot of ppl have exams and sessions in schools 'n universities. or they just have multiple accounts\play in multiple servers. actually, that's mine problem, cuz I have Ame server where I play a lot, Euro server where I play less 'n Asia server where I play even less then in Euro serv. soo, it may be a problem too
FYI: it means to play any mobile game, or download anything from steam/any platform... your personal info meaning... phone number, ID, bank statement, etc is needed to play games... LIKE CHINA.

I have a lot of investment in genshin and i enjoy the game, but if ever they began requiring this for those of us that don't live in russia, I'll literally drop it so fast hoyo heads will spin, no one gets access to my real identity.
For me at least I think that is even if the bill passes most players probably already have some sort of ID or something to be able to play Genshin. So it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. Also now the Russian Genshin unavailability has calmed down so people would still be able to play the game anyways.

I'm from Russia . It already works fine, no need to panic. RUclips doesn't work at all though. We have to use VPN to access it. And even with VPN it doesn't work all the time.
ух, писать на английском долго чёт сложновато. особенно когда с грамматикой и построением предложений проблемы. все спокойно входят в игру, не волнуйтесь. просто проходило тестирование в нескольких регионах своего локального интернета из-за чего многие не могли зайти в геншин ни просто так, ни с ВПН, так как блокировались все сигналы поступающие извне. насколько я знаю, сейчас уже спокойно люди из тех регионов входят в игру
