It’s interesting seeing the other logic teachings out there. There really isn’t much out there for a field that’s so old. I was fortunate enough to have a great professor train me in logic. I’ve gotten to the point with these proofs where I don’t even write the rules down. I can do whole proofs in my head, up to like 10 lines or so. I love logic, I’ll continue doing it just as mental practice. I can feel my brain working like I’m playing chess
I had been struggling with this topic for so long! I always had to learn the equations byheart and write the bits i remember (for all my previous exams). But i m so glad to have found your channel right before ny finals.
What is the difference between rules of Inferences and the conditional statements proof we use in mathematics (given a hypothesis show that the conclusion follows from it)?
I can't figure out how to match statements to proofs Example : if 4x+5x=18,then 9x=18. I think it would be multiplication property but I honestly can't tell.
Hello thanks for your video, do you have a hint for me how to prove ~A↔ B, ~B ↔ C, ~C ↔ A ╞ λ ? I already used the Df rule but I still cannot see how to show that an absurdity follows... Help would be much appreciated... Thank you!
I’m taking introduction to logic ( Philosophy) and I’m going to fail 😂 The class was not what I expected
Symbolic logic is going actually going to kill me 😭😭
Did you fail?
@@rust5427 I did not, I passed with a B and a brain aneurysm 😂
@@K_Slimm any tips I’m struggling atm
I’m struggling so bad I thought it would be a philosophical course boy was I wrong
I think this is the video that finally cracked the wall between me and the understanding. Thanks so much!

watch some NPTEL propositional logic
Please upload more... Really helpful
I don't get from my teachers lecture
my professor literally does not explain anything, thank you so much for this.
Thanks a bunch, didn't really get the idea of working through problems like that till this video :)
Thank You very much Isabel...
wow...................exellent explanation thanks a lot
Thanks for breaking it down!

same as me
she has the power to give understanding. We are truly blessed thank you for ur explaination Mrs. Cooke (hope u are called by this name)
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I finally understand ❤❤❤
can you please suggest books for solving propositional logic.

luckily found your video before the final . #alahmdulilah . tnkz isabel 🙃
Thanks for your information,,
please help because i’m still not understanding and have a whole section due😫😫😫
please upload more about predicate calculas really hlpful
OMG I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!! THANK U SO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!
How does this explain it better than two of my 50 minute lectures.......
Can we used the derived premises twice to prove the conclusion?
Yes
Can not access your website you provided, I need to ask a question regarding deductive proofing if you could send me your email? Would be appreciated
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing
give an other examples
plz give a long prove wirh explain this maths..
You did not use the commutative q ^ r to get the q.
Wow nice voice 😍

I find this stuff fun, heh. Great stuff, thanks :)
thankyou maam
How to prove this
Prove: (M/W
1.(A->~A)
2.(A->W)
3.(~A->M)
And
Prove: (X/Z)
1. [(X/Z) → ~K]
2. [W → (C/~P)]
3. [(C/~P) → (X&W)]
4. { ~[~W / ~(X/Z)] / (X&~Z)}
5. {~ (X&W) / ~[(X/Z) & ~K]}
