정리해주셔서 감사합니다❤ 이렇게 러룰이랑 싸이코만 빼고 모든 뮤비가 다 나왔네여,, (피카부는 뮤비 장면은 아니고 석궁, 초록젤리, 피자에 박았던 다이아 등 심볼이 나오더라구용) 파워업도 없는 줄 알았는데 저 장면이 파워업 뮤비었다니 ㅋㅋㅋ 배드보이도 그냥 주룩주룩으로 때우고 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 아무튼 정리해주셔서 감사해용😆
개인적으로 러시안 룰렛이랑 피카부, 배드보이, 싸이코 같은 묘하게 섬뜩한 느낌을 내는 레드벨벳 뮤비를 사랑하는 러비인데 제대로 안 나와서 조금 아쉬운 느낌이 들긴 하더라구요...! 다시 보니까 러시안 룰렛(고양이, 까마귀)이랑 싸이코(체스), 퀸덤(마녀모자, 책) 관련 심볼도 있더라구요... 뮤비 장면 자체가 오마주된 게 없어서 넘어갔었네요ㅠㅠ 알려주셔서 감사해요!!
it's so interesting that now we know why red velvet changes consept everytime, basically ReVe (the pink bear) was trying to recreate the original red velvet (Happiness Era) because he wanted to play with them. So in Rookie and in Dumb Dumb the members are just dolls made by ReVe himself. So he tried to do his best to make Red Velvet play with him, but he did a mess and transformed into the werewolf in RBB. Finally the girls notice him and they see that ReVe is now full of bad emotions that bring night in the imaginary world of Red Velvet. The girls help ReVe coming back into his real form and they discover that night it's not as scary as they thought. It's pretty interesting cause now that Red Velvet is doing a comeback the 28th of November (so pretty soon) and the story of ReVe is getting even deeper. It the sample video we see the original form of ReVe drawn on a post-it of the fridge so we know that he's canonically in their new comeback. We also see we have a new strange mascotte, a cartoon cat with the ReVe-Headphones, witch we see a couple of times with the ReVe's box (another importart part of the lore, cause help the girls find ReVe everytime he needs them and teaches the girls about not being scared of night.) What if this cartoon cat is ReVe again? Or is it someone new?
There are a few more they didnt really reference, we didnt REALLY get too much of a reference to ice cream cake (I mean there is the giant cat in that MV which im assuming is Reve), psycho, queendom or Russian roulette. I dont believe the story has been told in full yet ;) I have a theory that there are multiple versions of the girls because of Reve and it could explain some other things (like Irene having two different colored eyes in queendom).
You can say that there are multiple versions of girls. You know, in dumb dumb M/V, ReVe has created billions of dolls or play figures of Red Velvet girls. Those are mannequins, the replicas of red velvet girls. Hence, the mannequins find themselves in a competitive environment, to eliminate other set of Red Velvet mannequins. That's why you will find them in Russian Roulette, trying to kill each other, as a result of competition among the dolls.
Another theory goes like this. One Of These Nights(7월 7일) M/V explains, how the Red Velvet girls died in a shipwreck and the souls of the girls sing the tragic ballad of that shipwreck. Joy and Seulgi were the lone survivor of that shipwreck. Psycho M/V explains, the souls communicating with Joy and Seulgi and tell them the story of their death. Hence, you see Joy driving the car alone and Seulgi was trying to talk with Wendy and Yeri, while Joy cut the string to avoid contact between them.
This may also refer to the Peek-A-Boo M/V, where the girls are nothing but ghosts and trying to hunt boys. Maybe, they just came back to take Joy and Seulgi along with them. Just as you see, Irene, who is a ghost, is trying to kill Seulgi by slitting her throat and Wendy and Joy, while playing the game of Pizza checkers, may be the loser has to be starved to death, where Wendy tricked Joy just to starve Joy to death.
