This Michigan Band was tight, There were couple of classes ahead of them that were tight also. The band of today is nowhere near this tight, both precision, marching, and sound. I think the best band in the Big Ten during that era. Played in Florida A&M University Marching "100" ahead of this band and we were good. Big Blue was good also. We traveled the country during that time and I can tell there was not a band in the big ten that came close to Michigan at that time. They were just that good.

Sunset Grill, King's Cross Climax, and Somewhere. There were no announcements for the 2nd or 3rd tune because of microphone failure. I was mad!
