CO-OP Radio Jingles

The CO-OP supermarkets in the UK, for well over ten years now have had their own in store radio station piped out across the tannoy in most of their stores. It's a great idea that uses DJ's to present various in store radio shows, which not only play music, but also promotes the products in store and entertains the staff and customers is the process.
Up until about a year ago it was transmitted to the stores via an analogue satellite system, but during the recent re-branding of CO-OP, it was changed to a different media provider, that overhauled the whole format of the in store radio and distributed it digitally and more locally, meaning news more local to each store could be put out.
These Jingles were taken from the old days of CO-OP radio and were captured between 2011 and 2014.

Got a few hours of coop radio during covid, but it's was mainly just music with announcements in between, nagging customers to wear a mask and keep 2 meters apart 😄

Scared to say incase coop tell me off 😄 basically used to connect a mini disc recorder to the output of the shop tannoy.

@@TimmyJoe633 Interesting! Because I work at co op and I sometimes play my own music.... so I would love some "This is co op radio" jingles in between songs so we don't get in trouble 🤣 but I recognise that these are from summer time so are out of date
