Coming out of their world I had to reajust my mind for a minute or two, lol. Of course I did a binge of the whole thing one after another till it was done,so I was quite stuck into it. XD

My father was in the equivalent of a crow's nest in 1944. I was told, off the coast of the Aleutian Islands, but I'm not sure. Time takes it's toll on the mind. One week he was a teenager in Tampa Florida. a few months later, he was on the radio tower (20th century crow's nest) of the McDermut. He said he would see the sky, then the ship would roll down, the bow would plunge beneath the sea, and the spray would woosh over him, coating him in freezing seawater and he would wrack himself on the radio console. Then the ship would come rise up again and it would start over. He would see the sky again, and and plunge down. It was, however war. So occupationally, a plane, ship, or sub would try to sink them. But they did not, so I was born.
I truly doubt that everyone was as pretty as they were on Black sail.

I was so fucking invested with Charles Vane and Eleanor's story, hoping that they would have a happy ending. BUT NOT! And now I have this mission to read and watch all those stories with a happy ending. They just broke my heart :(

Fucking hell, Charles Vane's actor has a very different voice in real life. He must so get so hoarse after filming each scene.
Mitsevo it's not that difficult to put a gravel tone into your voice, he rarely actually screamed in the show, and having good projection from the lungs is always key to not blowing out your lungs.

Just a little bit of mindless info.I really got into this show and it was hard at first because I was so immersed in Game of Thrones BUT it's a great show. 1. He was bisexual and even if he was what does that matter. If it were a woman how would that have changed how great the story was. 2. Season 4 was epic
I agree, even though I'm a 100 percent Flint fan mainly because of Toby Stephens' marvelous acting, I could see many people beginning to love him and then suddenly go "nahhh" when they found out he is gay. And that kind of makes sense because he came off as so macho and aloof and strong from the very beginning that you wouldn't really expect him to be gay, furthermore, you would actually prefer him to be straight regardless, because of the character he portrays!
