HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 14 дек 2024
- In this 50 minute yoga class, we focus on creating mobility in your hips and the major muscles around them. This is an intermediate, beginner-friendly flow.
We start with a warming flow (the yang portion) and finish with some longer stretches (the yin portion).

Omg yes! For someone with hip issues, I must stretch them everyday. I’ve done almost all of your videos at least 3 times each but this is DEF 1 of my top 3 favorite flows with you thus far! Thank you!

👍from Indonesia
Thank you 👍🏽
Thank you!!!
Im curious about whether or not an ujjayi breath should be used here or just a soft inhale and exhale through the nose. Any one know?
I personally like ujjayi for the active, yang sections, and a softer breath for the yin sections but I say whatever works for you is great!
@@FloatingYogaSchool Thank you so much for the reply! Side note, I greatly enjoy your yoga flows! I share them with everyone I know! Thank you for putting all this out there to help people!
Amazing. Thank you :)
Thank you for practicing with me!
You're back! Yay! Now to my usual questions and comments..... 1. When you talk about having both feet on the knife edge I was a bit confused (and I tend not to look at the screen when practicing). Is it the outer edge of both feet? Initially I was trying to rotate them in the same direction. 2. The pose that is almost like gate crossed with thread-the-needle is interesting though I don't fully thread and my head stays off the gate - is that okay as a "closed drawbridge" or something? 3. There was another pose where you mixed something with child's pose and either my bum could be grounded or my front end could but there was no way I could get what you were aiming for. What modifications do you suggest?
Thanks, bienvenue encore, et namaste!
Yay! Finally back :) Great questions. 1) knife edge = outside edge of feet. 2) totally okay if your head is off the ground. If you have a block(s) you can rest your head/shoulder on the block if they don't touch the ground. Closed Drawbridge for the win! 3) Oh yes, child's pose with leg extended to the side maybe? You can sit your bum on a pillow or cushion, or just do a regular child's pose. Big hugs!!
