Marcel was said to be the villain but it was always Ilan
Heather is the typical micro-manager Karen Chef. Crazy how people were asking her to apologize in their reunion episode but it never happened. She felt 100% of it was truthfully. Ironic how Heather is telling Bev isn't a team player, but the way you are acting and the way you throw your teammate in a double elimination challenge, What does that make Heather ? I still don't understand how anyone defends Heather.
I feel sorry for her husband or wife....

Heather has a big mouth but if you ever worked in a place where people don’t pull their weight or do their share, you would understand.
Marcel was bullied so bad all season. Those other cooks were so lame
I use Season 2 of Top Chef to teach my sociology students about bullying and how it manifests in violence.

I laugh every time I see that Howie and Joey fight, since they make up a few episodes later as buddies. It was like some new York Italian family sitcom with those two. Hilarious stuff :D
No kidding. I remember Joey crying when he was eliminated. Howie and Joey had one of the best bromances in the series

Tbh they built Marcel to be the villain all season and though he was annoying at times I was kinda crushed he didn't win. He was a total zero to hero.
Can we all just be happy that Bravo switched that stiff model to Padma after season 1. Best move they ever made.
Everyone picked on marcel for no reason. Honestly everyone on that season were a bunch of jerks.
Tom wanted to eliminate everyone and give marcel the win by default after the haircut issue. But producers didnt let him

Not for no reason. Marcel was cocky, arrogant, and kept unsuccessfully trying to psych everyone out. Which ultimately put a social target on his back.
He did not deserve that prank though and Ilan was definitely that season’s TRUE villain. lol

This shows why the more recent shows are SO much better. Real competitors, not jerks.
If anything, the recent seasons have proven you don't need these clashes to make the show good. We watch this for the cooking and the food. I'll watch Hell's Kitchen for cooking drama
Wow, in my opinion the first seasons were the best, very raw and real. Now everything is heavly edited and produced
@@Bernardoribei You think so? Sarah being humiliated in her favorite team's stadium and her reaction after that seemed very real to me. Besides that I think the last 6 seasons have been all fairly strong. The weakest was probably Kentucky and I still watched in a sit, can't say the same for New York or D.C.
@@frida.7831 I think with any reality show the pattern is to get progressively edited each season. Seasons 1-5 were when Top Chef became a sensation and won a lot of Emmys, everything seemed more real, the contestants were the main focus, now I don't feel the same way

Why do people yell over each other during arguments? Like let the other person get their point out before you make points that don’t make sense because you cut them off
That would be the logical thing to do but sadly, most people don’t care about logic when they’re angry. They just wanna be right and have the last word and they think yelling over the other person makes them right.
It’s a widely used control tactic. And one of my pet peeves.

I watched this video and read the comments just to see if someone would bring this up since Aaron Grissom’s picture is part of the video thumbnail.
The Tacoma, WA med examiner said Aaron died Sept 8, 2020 due to multiple blunt force injuries. The crash was ruled an accident.
Very sad to lose another contestant. Both Aaron Grissom & Fatima Ali (Ewing’s sarcoma, d. Jan. 25, 2019) were so young at 34 and 29 years old respectively.

pfft. This drama is childplay compared to Hell's Kitchen. Some diabolical evil persons compete there. At least in TC the arguments are quite chef-y and professional. But in Hell's Kitchen, you bump them and they would be hysterical as if you just killed their mother.
