MUMBAI to SURAT || Full Train Journey- PART 1 || Train No. 02200 Bandra Terminus Jhansi Special!!!

Hi Guys,
This video compilation is the first of a 2 part series that covers my journey from Mumbai to Surat. I was traveling on the Bandra Terminus Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Special that was hauled by a "MEGA OFF-LINK" BZA WAP4!!!
PART 1 covers the initial leg of the journey with the train's coupling with a BZA WAP4 and subsequent departure from Bandra Terminus and ends with the train's crossing with a BRC WAP7 led Jamnagar BDTS Humsafar Express as we head to Vapi!

This part also covers the train's run through the SCENIC SUBURBS of Mumbai during the monsoon season and the arrival & departure from Borivali Station!!!

The bridge that was crossed before Vapi is over the River Damanganga. It is a bridge with a history. On a squally night in May or June 1976 the then Delhi Janata Express had passed over it and had entered Vapi when the one of the spans collapsed and fell into the river. All trains to and from Bombay were stopped and it would be a year before a new bridge was ready for service though with severe speed restrictions. The pillars of the old bridge can still be seen beyond the new DFC bridge.
