💯 I'm here because of the DIY content from years back, now I watch all sort, I don't ride, got no nice cars and won't be buying a quarry but I watch all these vids, 😂 top man
Harry when you hire your next digger see if they have a rack bucket to sift all the rock from the dirt then you can build your foundations with rock then stack the hero dirt!
Always been a big fan of Harry’s attitude and energy! Always a laugh! It’s cool to see both the line and his build skills develop as this build is progressing along! Definitely think you will need a roller/pump bump between the first jump and the wallride to maintain your speed though!
We could do with a drone shoot above the features so we can get a better idea of what else could be done. Awesome opportunity you have to do this, nice little touch. 🤘🏽
This is going to be a sick place to ride. Im no professional but i notice youre lifting the front of the digger up alot. If you put the blade behind you it will make it more stable when trying to dig deep.
@@harrymain ur do really good but an experienced driver would put them self in optimal position and could drive on top of jumps to get height shame u don’t no my mate he be just the trick he drives diggers and builds jumps
yess now, time to rolll a big fat banger and watch this *edit* where the wall is that you wana wall ride id just build a landing the other side of it and try make like a bit of a hip right next to the wall
Bro be puttin in work. Good skills with the digger , don't get a driver in , it might save time but you'll always need a driver unless you learn to do it yourself
not sure if its been suggested but you should build a screen to remove your big rocks so you have that nice soil to top off the ramps they are reasonably easy to build and you'll save so much time
Wishing and hoping nothing but the best for your new venture lad, just keep that focus in the right place, 1 step at a time and that place will be dialled and well known
Compact your jumps as you build. Use the bottom of the bucket and press the dirt down every 4-5 dumps or so. This will prevent them from COLLAPSING when they get wet and heavy during winter. caps lock cos jumps collapsing sucks. Also long wooden handled shovel (lidl sell great ones)
If you Hire and excivator again you should try moving the spare bucket with the machine.... then change the bucket ;) Looking forward to following along woth your journey
Was thinking it could be cool to have a wall ride to that goes to the left also for those who prefers spin is left. Could also possibly lead onto more features off in that direction if there is room :)
just a tip, I know its a rental excavator but when you're not using it make sure to drop the bucket on the ground (lower the arm so that the bucket is sitting on the ground) so you aren't leaving unnecessary pressure in the hydraulic lines, also helps with the longevity of your boom cylinders, its a big safety thing and will help keep the excavator in better working order. also not sure if you knew as-well but when digging in firmer grounds, turning up the revs of the machine will give you more power when digging and will also make the hydraulics work a-lot smoother, however the machine will be prone to shorter and sharper movements. you seem like you know your way around the machine by now and its great to see, just a few things to help you in the future, keep up the great content its good to see someone out building some sick trails and jumps again !
and to make a bit more sense on the revs thing, basically an excavator has a hydraulic motor/pump and when you speed up the revs on the machine it increases the rate at which the pump sucks in and pushes out the hydraulic fluid, meaning faster pressure build up/decrease (more or less power to the boom cylinders) faster :)
ahhh makes sense on leaving it floating! yeh I did start to turn the revs up but wasn't the best at moving the digger round on high revs! thanks for the tips bro!!
You gotta use the digga to find a spot that has good dirt so you can have your own dirt mine within the mine. Maybe build a pond and drainage as you go, so you have a source of water too.
good work harry. that wall ride take off looks like could be a landing for a drop somwhere off that insane clifff ? just a thought . love ya work . always on stand by if ya need a hand on a weekend 👊🤟🤟
For the next line I wonder if would save time and effort in the long run to spend some time sieving rocks to give yourself a big clean pile of dirt to build with. At least for a final layer on top of the jumps for finishing/shaping with so you don't have to rake all the crap out by hand. Your plant hire place might be able to advise the best way to do that. Sieve bucket or other. Or explore around a bit with the digger and see if there is spots with less rocks you could use as your main source.
Dude! loving the new bike park build great to see you putting time into something you clearly love. The only thing that's slightly putting me off this series of videos is you use of the "f" word wow its constant 😅

4 new OWNA tees rocked up today. I must have had 20+ products over the years, quality still on point. How the hell do you offer them so cheap when they are great quality? I still regularly wear tees and hoody’s that are 5-6 years old which are still perfect condition (other than the ones I ripped falling or got paint on)
What about, instead of a wall ride, you have a n option to take a clean line down, building speed then hit a jump which lands you on top of the quarry wall?
Why don't you stack the dirt harry then form the edges within 3x2 and fill that with loose dirt and drag it back with a big 3x2 will speed you up I think ya know
