Hi - your pool decking is amazing!! Please let us know the specific type/color of travertine stone, the approximate SF cost of this time (excluding installation), and whether you sealed the stone. We have quartzite tile on our patio deck, and it appears a bit discolored and unattractive just 5 years after we installed the deck. Did you use a high performance, polymer grout in between the tiles? Also, I believe your travertine coping is about 2" x 12" x 24" with a 2" overhang. Are you happy with the coping style (it looks great and integrates beautifully with the other tiles)?
Hi and thank you! So glad you like the decking we chose. We did seal the stone. I don't remember the exact sf cost but it would be irrelevant today, as prices have changed so dramatically over the last few years. Each region also has such varying costs depending on where you live. The color is a combination of ivory, gray and beige. We did use hard grout between the stones which are set on concrete as opposed to sand. I love and much prefer a square coping as opposed to the typical bullnose style. I believe the coping is a bit thicker than 2". Check out my blog for more pool posts and details.
Hi, I upgraded to RiverRok because Diamond Brite was not going to give me the type of finish I was looking for, have you seen my video on Pool Finishes ? ruclips.net/video/gdXTbTaCCoQ/видео.html
Hi Marie! Choosing the water color was a tough choice and I stressed but hoping to make it easy for others. Not sure why we put so much pressure on ourselves!! Hope your summer is fabulous!
