- We wanted to start the year off right, so a couple weeks before school started, we began implementing a morning routine that would help the kids get ready for the day and help around the house in a small but meaningful way. It's so funny watching the kids grow up and seeing how different each personality is. I remember Calvin being born and watching him grow up in comparison of Jackson's personality and now Tommy (and soon baby girl!). It's so cool seeing how kind, gentle, and bright each one of your kids are in their own different ways.
Really excited (and maybe a little nervous?) to see baby girl's personality!

Thanks for the inspo Ellie. I've been trying to figure out how to get into a chore routine. We usually wing it every day, but I like how simple the paper is. Lol, I feel like I always over think it.

Hi! I'm curious what your kiddo's school time is? Here in Florida the official school time starts at 7:45!
I was thinking the same thing lol! I am up at 4:30AM to get my workout in and myself ready before rushing around to get my Kids out the door by 7:15 😅😴
Yah there’s no way we would have time to do all this before school unless we woke up at 4 am.
That's crazy! For elementary, school starts around 9. Things will be different once in middle/high school for sure. This works because we have the time.

Texas here and first bell for my Elem kids is 7:35. We are lucky to get them dressed, water bottle filled, frozen waffle and out the door.

Jared, I just learned something not long ago. My mom and brother both had grey/white hair starting in their early 20s. So I was researching about it and had found out that it's actually linked to copper deficiency. Copper deficiency can cause a host of issues. You might look into it. 🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼

Curious to know when school starts everyday? My boys would have to wake up in the middle of the night to do chores before school if we had this routine. glad it works for you.
School starts around 9. Kids are usually up by 7. Like I mentioned, it may not work for everyone, but it’s been very smooth for us! ❤️🙌🏻

Wow what time do they have to be at school? My kids have to be SEATED by 7:40am. We have to leave the house around 7:10am to deal with the line and traffic. We have just enough time to get them dressed brush their teeth and hair and eat a quick breakfast. We wake up at 6:40am 😩
This is for elementary school? Dang! I know it gets earlier for middle and high school, but that’s way early! Our kids start around 9:00

I made my kid a nice checklist. He’s almost 9. I STILL have to ask a million times “did you brush your teeth? Are you dressed? Did you do XYZ?” 🙄

Hi Jared I don’t want to let you know that Jackson is cute like I don’t know what age is he and also I have a baby brother named Pablo he’s two years old and I think he is three months old I guess no no no no no actually it’s two months because he’s two years old and Ellie you are so good I went to the hospital because for no reason to get my surgery out so I took the medicine and then it smells so good Yeah I just want to let you know!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm 61 and still need a routine or I don't get much accomplished. After watching this I realized I need to re-evaluate my routine. Your needs and goals change over the years so mine is overdue due for a change up.
