Arches National Park | Climbing Owl Rock Spire

October 2021 we were hanging out in Moab UT for the 4th time and finally pulled the trigger on Arches National Park. We don't like going to national parks all that much because they are usually kinda commercialized and it feels like an amusement park or a museum more than being in nature... Soooo we got up before dawn to try and beat the crowds and drove into Arches to trad climb a popular (sorta easy) spire called "Owl Rock." (Funny enough we climbed another Owl Rock out in Cochise Stronghold earlier in the year, go check out that video too!)
We managed to summit just as the sun was rising up over the beautiful red buttes and towers, and the snow covered La Sal mountains in the background. Afterwards we make some bacon and then drive through the park to see a few of the sites.

We’ve been reborn through the stone cracks and now we are people of the rocks! When going through the footage I got that vibe too. It’s definitely an intimate conversation we get to have with these majestic beings.
