Good move by Dean Spanos and the LAC. They're getting a really good football coach who will only benefit Justin Herbert and get the most out of that roster.
SD/Stanford/9ers/and now the Chargers. Michigan was his alma mater. He loves CA, he wasnt going anywhere else in the pros but to the Chargers. Also he has a top 5-7 QB amongst other talent already there. Its not a rebuilding situation but more of a refocusing the talent to be apart of a winning culture. This will be the best thing that could of happened to Herbert.

FACTS. The only other time the Chargers hired a person with HC experience was Marty and thats when they moved training camp to LA, and failed!!!. Two and a Half Men did an episode(2006) of Michael Duncan working for the Chargers in LA. NFL needs LA market money so they moved the Chargers to LA and Raiders to Vegas for gambling money. Chargers are failing in LA and the NFL is desperate for the money from the LA market and are helping the Chargers afford/pay for Jim Harbaugh. The NFL gives a SB win to all teams that have built a new stadium: Seattle, NO, LA, NE. Expect the NFL to give the Chargers a SB win within the next two years as the NFL can not afford to lose the money from the LA market. FYI, San Diego still has the most people watching Charger games and have recently blacked out Chargers in San Diego. NFL is a dirty business.
The NFL would have been better off building a stadium in Vegas adn making that the "Game of the Week' on a neutral site. Keeping Chargers in SD and Raiders in LA.
