Gabby, I've been in your situation with wisdom teeth and being scared to death to have surgery. I never took care of it when I should have and my teeth are horrible now and have shifted. Trust me! If I could go back in time I would have just done it. You will be okay and thankful in the long run. LOVED the song you put to your friend's wedding! So cute and you made me tear up.
I had so much anxiety when I had my wisdom teeth out when they told me but it wasn’t to bad. Jello & mashed potatoes were what helped me with eating. I know it’s a lot but you got this 💛 keep us updated and I hope it all goes well those anxious feelings are valid !
BTW, I felt the same as you and didn't go to the dentist for YEARS because I have a legit fear of the dentist after having such a horrible experience in junior high school and high school with traditional metal braces. So I totally get it. On the place side, wisdom teeth surgery is super easy and common, and you'll be unconscious for the whole thing. Recovery time is pretty fast too. I got my wisdom teeth pulled when I was 18. So I imagine wisdom teeth surgery NOW is even more-improved then when I got it done in the '90s! Hang in there. ❤
Initially I didn't really have a bias when I first got into BTS. For around a month I would say that Namjoon caught my eye the most. But as soon as HYYH Pt. 2 was coming out and they released the comeback trailer using the song Intro: Never Mind Yoongi became my bias. His passion & lyrics really struck me. I’ve listened to a few songs here and there over the last 5 years or so, but I always stopped myself from learning about them or their names until the beginning of this year. I KNEW they would consume so much of my life once I did. I was right. The second I started paying more attention to them individually, I knew my bias. JK. That’s never changed. The more I see of him and learn about him the more I adore him. Jimin is my bias wrecker but sometimes I start to question everything because I love them alllll so much. If you have all four, get them all extracted so no worries down the road. Have them give you a prescription for Valium to take before you go in to help with the anxiety. I got my bottom 2 wisdom teeth out earlier this year and I was put under because it was a complicated extraction and one of my teeth was super close to the nerve. Do not worry, it will be fine, do not look into the horror stories. You'll be on a soft diet for a bit but you'll be totally fine.

I too was so scared to get my 3 wisdom teeth out. I cried as they were giving me the anesthesia to put me under because I was so stressed by it. However, my recovery was pretty easy and it made for a very funny story for my friends who took care of me afterward because I was very loopy and tired from getting knocked out. Feeling for you and sending you strength!
Omg I'm going through the exact same thing. My tooth cracked because my wisdom tooth is sideways and putting lots of pressure on it. I'm terrified of the dentist but we can do it Gabby! Just think of how we won't have to deal with more issues from those teeth once we get them out.

But I will say I had all 4 wisdom teeth out at the same time and it honestly wasn’t too bad! Just lots of ice cream, milkshakes, and mashed potato’s! I had wisdom surgery two summers ago and got all four of them pulled out once. I woke up after and was like, “y’all took out four of them already??” It was my first surgery and I was terrified, but I healed up a lot faster than I thought I would. I lived off of mashed potatoes for a week and a half and that was rough. Just take your time to mentally prepared yourself! Good luck!!
Gabby I’m exactly the same with the dentist. It’s actual fear. I had the same deal with my wisdom tooth, it came in sideways. Being knocked out is the best thing for people like you and I. You get knocked out quick and then you wake up. It’s really not bad at all. I have had a root canal. I thought I was going to have a heart attack, it was the worst experience. But what you’re going to have is really not bad at all. Trust me, I have extreme anxiety.
Okay. I was TERRIFIED to have my wisdom teeth out. Absolutely terrified. I had all 4 removed at once, and had never had surgery before either. I had so much anxiety over it and heard all these horror stories, and please know that it isn’t bad at all. Getting put under happens so fast, you just feel really tired, and then you wake up and it’s over. I was beyond scared and it was not nearly as awful as I was anticipating. If you’re sensitive to pain medication like hydrocodone, that’s the type of stuff they’ll give you, so make sure you take it with enough food so you don’t feel sick. You can do it, it’s definitely intimidating, but you will be able to get through it. You got this. ❤️
Dentists tell you they’ve gotta knock you out to remove back molars/wisdom teeth because that’s easier for them, not necessarily for you. It’s more traumatic & longer recovery to remove all at one time. Instead you can opt to do it under local (& request laughing gas) if you prefer. If they want to remove all four, you can tell the dentist to remove one or two at a time with just local numbing, rather than yanking all at once under general anesthesia. The top molars are usually easier to remove, the bottom are often impacted, but you can still find a dentist willing to use local numbing & remove them in a way that best for you.

What I realized in getting a tattoo is that I prefer mine to be minimalist and hidden, something that I dont have to see everyday unless I take a look at it
With the dentist it really won't be as bad as you imagine it to be. They're used to doing these all the time and you are being put out for it you are in good hands. You won't even know what's happening or even how long you're put out for. It will be fine. Don't think of it like the dentist where you are fully aware of the drilling for example, its best to look at it like surgery I think. Good luck for it 🍀 it will be fine!

Hi Gabby! I've had a similar situation with my wisdom teeth and had to have them removed. I was 17 at the time and my top wisdom teeth were impacted, so removal was the only option. They put me to sleep and I didn't remember a thing! My mom was there at the time to drive me, and I just wanted to rest and be cozy watching a movie when I got home. I can relate to your concern and feeling nervous about the surgery. You're going to do great and once it's over, you will feel so relieved and glad that you got them out. Hi Gabby, I just got 4 wisdom teeth out a few weeks ago. I had never had any kind of surgery before or been under general anesthesia. Im also terrified of the dentist and was obviously terrified of the surgery. But everything went well! And being under, for me, it felt like a great nap! I think the whole experience actually helped me with my dental anxiety. Pro tip: kids fruit puree pouches with the little nozzle on top were the best thing to eat after the surgery :)
I had a tooth pulled a few years ago. It had broke and was in pain. It was a back molar too. I also have dentist anxiety. The scariest part of the whole thing was anticipation. They gave me an IV and knocked me out. It was over before I even knew. Ask them if they can give you a valium or Xanax pill an hour before the procedure. Most will do it, if it doesn't interfere with anesthesia. Wisdom teeth are a pain, so should just get them all done if dentist thinks you should. Then you don't have to worry about it happening again in a few years.

As a BTS Army I had a similar experience to yours. Back in 2018 Tae/V was the one that attacked me first. The man is a work of art and with the cutest personality. He was my bias for a long time, but as I grew to know more about the others (I love all 7 of them), Jin started slowly and steadly growing on me. It was the cheesy sense of humor and the windshield wiper laugh. Now Jin is my bias and V is my bias wrecker. But I have deep love and respect for all 7 of them. Honestly, those 7 guys can brighten up my day when nothing else can.

Okay I had all 4 wisdom teeth out at once, 2 out and 2 impacted. I got through it with wonton soup and smoothies. Just get it over with, you will be so relieved, let nobody video tape you immediately after surgery haha. Best of luck, we will send you books from your wish list.
Wisdom teeth removal is not bad! If your surgery is scheduled early in the morning, I suggest staying up the night before. When you get there you'll be exhausted and sleep the entire day. When you wake up the following day, won't be much pain! I got mine done on the day before thanksgiving and ate thanksgiving dinner 🤣 you'll be fine. Don't freak yourself out! It will be okay! 💕

I had an op to have my gallbladder taken out (not the same i know) BUT STILL SCARY! the best thing you can do on the day is remain calm. to stress about it even now will cause you to get ill. it will be okay. xx
When you were talking about the wedding, your hair and makeup was beautiful. You look great in the dress, it does not look big. Now you can eat! 😊 Let the oral surgeon take all four wisdom teeth out and get it over with. All four of mine were coming in sideways and it was worth getting it over with. I have extreme dentist anxiety and you’re knocked out, so it’s better then normal appointments.

Just adding to everyone else with their wisdom teeth stories! I had to get two out in high school and it was over before I knew it! I just remember waking up. Tbh the worst part was being restricted to like soft foods or whatever it was after (only a couple days) 😂 I spent a lot of my childhood at the dentist and orthodontist and I still dislike going. But this was one of the better experiences actually! ❤️
Gabby! I’m sorry to hear about your wisdom teeth. I had impacted wisdom teeth on the bottom and also had a back molar pulled- it went really well! Honestly the anxiety before is the worst part. But you just walk in and sit in the dental chair, they get your IV going and you are out like a light! You won’t remember anything at all. When you wake up there will be some cotton balls in your mouth which you can take out when you get home. I had a prescription for Vicodin after, but pain killers make me feel not great so I just took ibuprofen. If you know pain killers don’t make you feel good you could ask for Tylenol 3’s or another option. The recovery stinks just because of no food besides liquids and but jello and instant mashed potatoes the next day are your friend! Also lukewarm soup as nothing hot to dislodge blood clots formed to heal your mouth. Also definitely to the warm salt water solution each day! So helps not to get an infection and feels so soothing. I didn’t swish, just kinda moved my head from left to right to swirl it. I also just had a colonoscopy using that same “twilight” I think they call it- it’s not general anesthesia since that requires intubation. But the twilight for that also knocked me out cold and I had no memory of my colonoscopy either and woke up feeling good! Take care of yourself and it will go well! You’ll be so happy and glad when it’s all over and you’re healed up and have less teeth to worry about in the future 😁 also highly recommend they take out all of them like you said- I could only afford the bottom teeth so unfortunately one day I’ll have to undergo the top again. I hope this comment helped ease your anxieties even though I know it’s hard to do. Love your monthly vlogs!! 💕

Good Advice for the wisdom teeth procedure- PLEASE READ: I got all 4 wisdom teeth out at the same time. It's not that bad. It was done in the dental office, in the dentist chair. Not in a hospital or in an operating room. They gave me like a valium or something to take before the appointment. To knock me out, I got an IV in the crook of my arm (on the other side of my elbow) like where you normally get a blood test. I was out immediately and woke up what felt like 2 seconds later and it was over and I went home. I know you are scared but it's not that bad. IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF NEEDLES: get a prescription for Lidocaine cream from the doctor. One to two hours before the needle/appointment, spread a ton of that shit on your arm or wherever the needle is going to go, and wrap clear plastic saran wrap around it. Let it sit there for like 2 hours before the needle. It is numbing cream. You will NOT feel the needle whatsoever. This will work for you, trust me. And get some Xanax for before the procedure. Do these things and the whole thing will be totally fine and manageable. You got this.
When I had mine done, they had me count backwards from 10. I think I only got as far as 10. It felt so quick, that when I woke up I thought we were still on the countdown. They’re like, you can stop counting and I was like, well are we going to start the surgery soon? I was SO shocked when they told me that it was already done! Lol
Hey I just wanted to say I got my wisdom teeth out and the healing process while annoying was really simple! And one of mine shattered so they had to clean that up 😅. But honestly got it done on a Friday or Thursday and by Monday I was pretty much back to normal if not a little sore still! You got this!! Also I feel like you’d like the manga A Promised Neverland. I don’t even want to tell you the genre cause I feel like it’s a spoiler for the first book but it’s good!

I had wisdom surgery two summers ago and got all four of them pulled out once. I woke up after and was like, “y’all took out four of them already??” It was my first surgery and I was terrified, but I healed up a lot faster than I thought I would. I lived off of mashed potatoes for a week and a half and that was rough. Just take your time to mentally prepared yourself! Good luck!!
Gabby I’m exactly the same with the dentist. It’s actual fear. I had the same deal with my wisdom tooth, it came in sideways. Being knocked out is the best thing for people like you and I. You get knocked out quick and then you wake up. It’s really not bad at all. I have had a root canal. I thought I was going to have a heart attack, it was the worst experience. But what you’re going to have is really not bad at all. Trust me, I have extreme anxiety.
Okay. I was TERRIFIED to have my wisdom teeth out. Absolutely terrified. I had all 4 removed at once, and had never had surgery before either. I had so much anxiety over it and heard all these horror stories, and please know that it isn’t bad at all. Getting put under happens so fast, you just feel really tired, and then you wake up and it’s over. I was beyond scared and it was not nearly as awful as I was anticipating. If you’re sensitive to pain medication like hydrocodone, that’s the type of stuff they’ll give you, so make sure you take it with enough food so you don’t feel sick. You can do it, it’s definitely intimidating, but you will be able to get through it. You got this. ❤️

Dentists tell you they’ve gotta knock you out to remove back molars/wisdom teeth because that’s easier for them, not necessarily for you. It’s more traumatic & longer recovery to remove all at one time. Instead you can opt to do it under local (& request laughing gas) if you prefer.
If they want to remove all four, you can tell the dentist to remove one or two at a time with just local numbing, rather than yanking all at once under general anesthesia. The top molars are usually easier to remove, the bottom are often impacted, but you can still find a dentist willing to use local numbing & remove them in a way that best for you.

Get that tattoo Gabby!!! haha. Im also so afraid of needles so my first tattoo was a minimalist line tatt. What I realized in getting a tattoo is that I prefer mine to be minimalist and hidden, something that I dont have to see everyday unless I take a look at it
I hope your wisdom teeth surgery is as painless as possible! I had to get it done when I was 16 and I have terrible anxiety at the dentist too.
With the dentist it really won't be as bad as you imagine it to be. They're used to doing these all the time and you are being put out for it you are in good hands. You won't even know what's happening or even how long you're put out for. It will be fine. Don't think of it like the dentist where you are fully aware of the drilling for example, its best to look at it like surgery I think. Good luck for it 🍀 it will be fine!
I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday! I assure you it isn’t too bad, it was also my first surgery, I don’t remember anything and with the pain meds I’m doing great! You got this!
Hi Gabby! I've had a similar situation with my wisdom teeth and had to have them removed. I was 17 at the time and my top wisdom teeth were impacted, so removal was the only option. They put me to sleep and I didn't remember a thing! My mom was there at the time to drive me, and I just wanted to rest and be cozy watching a movie when I got home. I can relate to your concern and feeling nervous about the surgery. You're going to do great and once it's over, you will feel so relieved and glad that you got them out. Hi Gabby, I just got 4 wisdom teeth out a few weeks ago. I had never had any kind of surgery before or been under general anesthesia. Im also terrified of the dentist and was obviously terrified of the surgery. But everything went well! And being under, for me, it felt like a great nap! I think the whole experience actually helped me with my dental anxiety. Pro tip: kids fruit puree pouches with the little nozzle on top were the best thing to eat after the surgery :)
I had a tooth pulled a few years ago. It had broke and was in pain. It was a back molar too. I also have dentist anxiety. The scariest part of the whole thing was anticipation. They gave me an IV and knocked me out. It was over before I even knew. Ask them if they can give you a valium or Xanax pill an hour before the procedure. Most will do it, if it doesn't interfere with anesthesia. Wisdom teeth are a pain, so should just get them all done if dentist thinks you should. Then you don't have to worry about it happening again in a few years.

As a BTS Army I had a similar experience to yours. Back in 2018 Tae/V was the one that attacked me first. The man is a work of art and with the cutest personality. He was my bias for a long time, but as I grew to know more about the others (I love all 7 of them), Jin started slowly and steadly growing on me. It was the cheesy sense of humor and the windshield wiper laugh. Now Jin is my bias and V is my bias wrecker. But I have deep love and respect for all 7 of them. Honestly, those 7 guys can brighten up my day when nothing else can.

Namjoon aka RM has been my bias since, the beginning for me. I love his smile, voice, and personality. ♥😊 As for the wisdom teeth, I had 2 wisdom teeth that were sideways. The surgery was really quick since I was knocked out the entire time. It felt like seconds! You will be okay!

Okay I had all 4 wisdom teeth out at once, 2 out and 2 impacted. I got through it with wonton soup and smoothies. Just get it over with, you will be so relieved, let nobody video tape you immediately after surgery haha. Best of luck, we will send you books from your wish list.
Wisdom teeth removal is not bad! If your surgery is scheduled early in the morning, I suggest staying up the night before. When you get there you'll be exhausted and sleep the entire day. When you wake up the following day, won't be much pain! I got mine done on the day before thanksgiving and ate thanksgiving dinner 🤣 you'll be fine. Don't freak yourself out! It will be okay! 💕

I had an op to have my gallbladder taken out (not the same i know) BUT STILL SCARY! the best thing you can do on the day is remain calm. to stress about it even now will cause you to get ill. it will be okay. xx

When you were talking about the wedding, your hair and makeup was beautiful. You look great in the dress, it does not look big. Now you can eat! 😊 Let the oral surgeon take all four wisdom teeth out and get it over with. All four of mine were coming in sideways and it was worth getting it over with. I have extreme dentist anxiety and you’re knocked out, so it’s better then normal appointments.
I can feel you about the dentist part!!!! OHMYGOD I HATE GOING TO THE DENTIST!!!! It's gives me so much anxiety that I can't do or think about anything else the whole week!!! 🥺🥺 I have a root canal and I died just because of anxiety. Just adding to everyone else with their wisdom teeth stories! I had to get two out in high school and it was over before I knew it! I just remember waking up. Tbh the worst part was being restricted to like soft foods or whatever it was after (only a couple days) 😂 I spent a lot of my childhood at the dentist and orthodontist and I still dislike going. But this was one of the better experiences actually! ❤️

Gabby! I’m sorry to hear about your wisdom teeth. I had impacted wisdom teeth on the bottom and also had a back molar pulled- it went really well! Honestly the anxiety before is the worst part. But you just walk in and sit in the dental chair, they get your IV going and you are out like a light! You won’t remember anything at all. When you wake up there will be some cotton balls in your mouth which you can take out when you get home. I had a prescription for Vicodin after, but pain killers make me feel not great so I just took ibuprofen. If you know pain killers don’t make you feel good you could ask for Tylenol 3’s or another option. The recovery stinks just because of no food besides liquids and but jello and instant mashed potatoes the next day are your friend! Also lukewarm soup as nothing hot to dislodge blood clots formed to heal your mouth. Also definitely to the warm salt water solution each day! So helps not to get an infection and feels so soothing. I didn’t swish, just kinda moved my head from left to right to swirl it. I also just had a colonoscopy using that same “twilight” I think they call it- it’s not general anesthesia since that requires intubation. But the twilight for that also knocked me out cold and I had no memory of my colonoscopy either and woke up feeling good! Take care of yourself and it will go well! You’ll be so happy and glad when it’s all over and you’re healed up and have less teeth to worry about in the future 😁 also highly recommend they take out all of them like you said- I could only afford the bottom teeth so unfortunately one day I’ll have to undergo the top again. I hope this comment helped ease your anxieties even though I know it’s hard to do. Love your monthly vlogs!! 💕

Good Advice for the wisdom teeth procedure- PLEASE READ: I got all 4 wisdom teeth out at the same time. It's not that bad. It was done in the dental office, in the dentist chair. Not in a hospital or in an operating room. They gave me like a valium or something to take before the appointment. To knock me out, I got an IV in the crook of my arm (on the other side of my elbow) like where you normally get a blood test. I was out immediately and woke up what felt like 2 seconds later and it was over and I went home. I know you are scared but it's not that bad. IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF NEEDLES: get a prescription for Lidocaine cream from the doctor. One to two hours before the needle/appointment, spread a ton of that shit on your arm or wherever the needle is going to go, and wrap clear plastic saran wrap around it. Let it sit there for like 2 hours before the needle. It is numbing cream. You will NOT feel the needle whatsoever. This will work for you, trust me. And get some Xanax for before the procedure. Do these things and the whole thing will be totally fine and manageable. You got this.

When I had mine done, they had me count backwards from 10. I think I only got as far as 10. It felt so quick, that when I woke up I thought we were still on the countdown. They’re like, you can stop counting and I was like, well are we going to start the surgery soon? I was SO shocked when they told me that it was already done! Lol

Hey I just wanted to say I got my wisdom teeth out and the healing process while annoying was really simple! And one of mine shattered so they had to clean that up 😅. But honestly got it done on a Friday or Thursday and by Monday I was pretty much back to normal if not a little sore still! You got this!!
