I'm going to reconnect with family soon since I just got out of jail(down 6 months) but have distanced my self from everyone a couple years back when I graduated to slamming heroin and crystal. The amount of guilt and shame I feel is overwhelming to say the least. Anyways idk why I'm writing this in a RUclips comment but Ive been a lot more open with others about my drug addiction and how it's worsened my Bipolar Depression. I felt like my spirit was deteriorating right before my eyes along with my mental and physical health. I know the hardest part will be to tell the family that doesn't know about my secret but those are the most important ones. It's really nerve racking to think about. I still feel so lost even in sobriety and the ritual of using needles was just as bad of an addiction as the actual drug itself. Physically I'm strong as ever doing 1000s of pushups and squats and hundreds of burpees a day but mentally I'm drained and spiritually I feel haunted by my past..

Say what you want about $uicideboy$ but what these guys did will be remembered FOREVER as following the path of essentially two completely broken souls over years of depression and drug abuse to finally getting a chance back at life through recovery. That shit MATTERS and sets one hell of an example for everyone!
I say that as someone who's been through their own share of personal hell, drug abuse, depression, the whole deal. I eventually found a way to get better through LSD. They found something else. In any case, it serves as an example for LOADS of people who may be struggling with similar problems. Think of it as: "If $uicideboy$ can get better, then so can we, dammit!" Fuck depression, fuck drug abuse, seek help if you need it. There is a way out :)
EDIT: Man I love the positive response this is getting from people who went through the same things. Even though I know nothing about you people, I am still somehow proud that you made it this far and that you're doing better. It's very motivating and hope giving. Love y'all
