    Electrification is the best thing that the UK’s railways want if we want to see our railways going greener.
    And to replace older diesel trains with new electric, Bi-mode, Battery powered and Hydrogen powered trains for the North of England and other parts of England as well as Wales & Scotland.

    Good to see them up. However I suspect that, knowing the competence of our current government in "levelling up", they will be there for decoration for some years to come...

      @@KingFinnch Transpennine express won’t have to As they already have Electric trains, 802 and the 397
