Saw them for the 4th time in Miami 24 starting from Sunplash in early 80's. I told my son the same thing. The prophetic lyrics of David Hinds is still relevant today. Second to Bob Marley & Wailers, Steel Pulse are my ultimate favorite Reggae Bands!
Jeffbaughn6876,David Hinds my steel pulse my God.Because of steel pulse back in the days I have to steal from my mom to go record thier songs in ghana on cassette. Steel pulse I was a fun plus they sent me a memship card plus a barge when in ghana. Plus I will always love you steel pulse and not Whitney Houston am just joking I will always love them both.Clap clap 👏 clap 👏.

Massive, Massive, Massive, one of the ultimate reggae bands of all time, being British as well love these guys being listening to them since Handsworth Revolution a killer Album!!! And yes Wild Goose Chase, massive, yes Blessings to David Hinds and the crew.... keep on Pulsing on!!
Other than Robert Nestor Marley my all time favorite reggaecgroup since 1979! I'm 66 going on 36 when I hear their music! Jah rastafari! Am Israel Chai!Zion will live on forever!
Where is Bombo(Selwyn)...he is a key part of this band...been there from day one...still sound great but you need him back...saw you perform in Nassau Bahamas about 40 plus years ago...concert was great...really liked the original lineup...well respected in the Bahamas.

Saw the original band in the 80s This drummer is very good. This incarnation is a little different. I have seen Steel Pulse with more keyboardists. This version of Steel Pulse sounds more stripped down. The horns are cool and they fill the void of just having 1 keyboardist.
Simmer down, skeptic. This is just a plain derpy comment. I have seem them 3x in the 1980s I play reggae guitar and I know most of these tunes. You probably know nothing of this music. Just trolling and running your mouth...
@@lawrencenjawe9875- I first saw Pulse live in Feb 1984, so didn't get to see Basil Gabbidon or Mykal Riley. Actually had a chat with Phonso Martin and Grizzly Nisbett before a big gig they did at the Brixton Academy in the early 90's supported by Sanchez.
I think the band needs another rhythm guitar and key board player ....i also think the bass is to light...thats the most do.i ant instrument in reggae...but overall they still sound great!
Once they were great roots... for the first 4 5 albums.... then they went disco.... geeezzzzz. now they are playing all the old songs without original bassman...... Do you know that Bob Marley used to listen to Handsworth Revoloution album on his tour to get inspiration.... no... well now you know. this is just sad....

I’ve been listening and following Steel Pulse for 40 years. This world is greater with them in it
The song Wild Goose Chase is literally a prophetic read of where our society is now. David wrote that song in 1983. Jah bless everyone.
One of the all time best songs of any genre. You have great taste jeff 👊🏻
