Just fyi, the infield fly rule can only be called with runners on first and second, or runners on first, second and third. It isn’t so much to prevent injury as it is to take away the infielders ability to create an unfair double play. For example, with runners on first and second, a ball hit in the air in the infield would force the runners on first and second to retreat to their base to tag up. Without the infield fly rule an infielder would be able to intentionally drop the ball and quickly throw to both third and second to get the easy force outs. Small thing I noticed from a baseball fans perspective, but otherwise great video 😀
Daisy and Hammer Bro could have bad chemistry also due to the fact that Hammer Bro tried to stop the player from getting Daisy's statue, in Challenge mode.
The toad eyes glitch can also occur for wiggler. When the RBI cutscene is cancelled at the right time, instead of its eyes, wiggler's mouth opens when charging a swing. Interestingly enough, when he turns angry and red in the charging animation, his mouth changes from just being open to giving a large grin. I've seen this happen tons of times since wiggler was one of my favorite characters to use in this game.
So I'm from taiwan and I can assure you that Taiwanese version is real. The reason it's kinda rare is because we used to have serious pirates game issue and most of the pirates version is just Japanese version. But the official Taiwanese version is just Japanese version with different text. Hope this helps.
Can we talk about how you need to use Wario’s MAGNET to get Baby Daisy’s RATTLE out of the WATER fountain? Basically, Baby Daisy’s rattle has metal in it and they give it back to her after it’s been in the water
If the ball hits the yellow, it’s considered a homerun. For the ball going foul, if the ball hits the foul pole it’s considered a homerun. What probably happened is that the game had that coded in, but not a foul pole hit box, so it got confused and ruled it foul.
For the waluigi entry- check his description in the game. It says something about charge hits increasing contact zone... but decreasing in power. Implying that if you charge it less, its more powerful. Idk about the contact zone thing tho. I thought those were constant no matter the charge.
That is a good theory that Wuhu island is the baseball kingdom, thought the Mario Sluggers came out in 2008 while Wuhu island debut game is Wii fit in 2007

I swear quite often when I go challenge bowser in the story mode every other hit is another home run which only happens when our previous game I won. It’s like the Ai is mad and just wants to cheat so badly. It’s gets me mad cuz they get 10 home runs and the perfectly catch the ball when I’m batting. It’s irritating but when I pull out my items they don’t stand a chance

In challenge mode during the cutscene, you see Bowser Jr and his minions walk out of Bowser Jrs playroom. One of those minions are shy guys, but in the game they aren’t minions of Bowser or Bowser Jr because they are playable characters. That is an Easter egg I recently discovered.
I dont know if i am correct, but the waluiji charging at the last second might also work for noki because I was playing with my friend and they waited too long AND HIT A HOME RUN ON DK JUNGLE

I Think the Secondary Home Run Animations are used in Bob-omb Derby when they Smack a Bob-omb in the Sky. But it can't be clearly seen in some occasions.

Hello! Good video! Although the other day I was playing Mario Super Sluggers in Wario City and I was batting as green noki. I used the star power up to hit farther and it ended up hitting green kritter and out the fence. It was ruled as a dead ball.
Yes! An actual dead ball. I did two demonstrations to check my information, and like I did before, I hit a player around the home run fence. They (Toadette) knocked it over the foul fence for a dead ball. If you hit it over the home run fence, it’s a home run.

If you pick Mario as a captain. He will not be shown on the selection screen In night peach ice garden. There is a chance the lights will turn off There are two different trains in yoshi park. One with a wiggler head and one with a pink yoshi head If more than two people are mvp. It will only show two people in front as the mvp. While tthe third MVP will be with the others doing their celebration animation.

In my copy of Sluggers, I can only play complete challenge mode with one set of characters. If I try again, I always get an error message in the final cutscene that doesn’t save my data. Its kind of annoying because on each file I can only have 9 star characters. Does anyone know a way to fix it? I’ve cleaned the disc numerous times but nothing seems to work.
not sure if this counts as a iceberg worth but one time i was playing my friend and we went into extra innings till the 8th he scored and then i scored and then the game ended why doesn’t that game go further like in the mlb
@MarioSluggersFanclub. I played 2 player co-op on expedition mode with friends and family,all stadiums,day and night. But I never got a RBI chance where I swing the remote for the star swing.
It's kinda curious how he names North American English, Canadian French, Japanese and Taiwanese versions of the game, when I do have the Spanish one, I wouldn't say it's European though because it's not Spain Spanish at all, just Latin American neutral Spanish
