The scene with the deaf girl, the actress was actually deaf. She was not to rehearse so she didn't know about the sign language. The joy on her face was genuine. Makes that scene even more special.

This is my 2nd favorite "Miracle on 34th Street". The 1947 version is my favorite. In this movie, Susan is played by the same girl that stars in the movie "Matilda", Mara Wilson.
You’re not the first to prefer the original to this one. I must watch it then!!
I agree. While this version isn’t bad, there’s something about the original.
As much as I am a fan of Matilda, Natalie Wood was the better Susan

Sometimes miracles do happen . Well when i was 13 Years old I was adopted and I have 2 older sisters and I was waiting for my older sister Kelly to come home from College . i kept Pacing the floor every day going into her Bed room waiting for her to come home . and then I got the surprise of my Life it spread tears out of my eyes . she was hiding in a big Box and popped out . and then she told me she was getting married to Derrick and I was in there Wedding they got Married Christmas eve . and I still cry about that.. Thank you Rickie for your posting.
Watching the guy fall out of the Sled gave me the Chills Bc I fell and skinned up my knee and Shin ouch I'm always running around in shorts . Thank you for posting .
I totally feel the same when I see bad falls! I’ve had a few spills in the past too.
@@RickieReacts I skinned up both My knees at the same time . My big sister says to me what am i going to do with you little Boy ? she a Big sister and mom at the same time always Bandaged me up . she is a Nurse .
@@charlieirvin5423 I broke BOTH of my feet at the same time! My family and I were on vacation to FL, and on our first night there I tripped over my sister's suitcase and broke my feet in the hotel room! I ended up with 1 fracture in my left foot, and 5 in my right! We had to drive from FL all the way back to CT like that! I ended up having surgery to place 3 metal plates and 12 screws! It took me 6 months before I was walking again! So yeah, I cringe when people fall... I definitely feel their pain!
