Well, you ought to read the book. The book the movie is based on. The movie doesn't do it justice and the author didn't like it at all. Do they still print editions that have green and purple writing in them, depending on whether you're in the real world or Fantasia? You ought to see whether you can find one of those.

The outside of "The Slaughtered Lamb" is a tiny village in mid-Wales called Crickadarn. It's private house (don't expect an invite). The inside was filmed in a pub down south.

Good God, what a snowflake this reactor woman is. This was a comedy from forty years ago. She spoiled her reaction with all the fashionable virtue signaling. Again, this was a comedy. This younger generation is afraid to laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. There is social commentary in the film but it went right over her head. Well, if you wanna see a heroic man in war not killing anyone, then you HAVE to check out Hacksaw Ridge, directed by Mel Gibson and Starring Andrew Garfield (if you haven't seen it already). It's a true story, and the movie actually had to water down the hero's accomplishments as a combat medic because the true facts are even more incredible. It's definitely worth diving back into a war movie or 2 😅 and if you've already seen it, hopefully you'd agree.

theres different "schools" or training programs for pretty much every position in the military. so yes people who are the decision makers of battles would go to learn about tactics and strats. also the surrendering nazi was wearing US uniform which makes him a spy and spies are to be executed on the spot and never to be considered a POW

I wasn’t in nam or ever in the army or any branch of the military. But I used to smoke menthol cigarettes and very occasionally visit a whore house never Asian unfortunately. I am sure it was hot and humid in the summertime but anytime I was going to a whore house I was drunk so it was probably in the middle of the night.

I’d say as an actor for a good performance you need to get into the headspace. I’ve only done community and university theatre but I love it and I found for myself if I was doing a dramatic role or playing a villain, I really had to put myself into what that character would be like, which I can say does affect you a little. I had a role once where the script had me as a jilted lover who ended up unaliving my costars new man. It was probably a week after wrap where I still felt it.

The vampires from Buffy the vampire slayer are heavily based on the lost boys. The character of Spike in particular is based off David Powers.

During the bridge scene the way the vampires fall down underneath it is also the same way they are eventually all taken out.

In some vampire legends they were capable of glamouring a victim making them see what the vampire wanted them to see.

Ever notice that David was the only character seen wearing gloves there was a reason for that. During filming of one of the bike scenes Keifer Sutherland actually broke his hand in an accident. In a few scenes you can make out the cast pocking out from under the glove.

If you're having difficulty with a few films , my suggestion - just watch , appreciate (react), and enjoy. Basically forget about us during the film. Forget about analysing as it goes.
