I read Smith's book about Nelson Rockefeller and enjoyed it. Based upon different documentaries I have watched, I was under the impression that Nelson and John Rockefeller III had no contact with each other over the last few years of their lives, but according to Smith's book, this was in fact not the case. Jon III and Nelson had actually made some degree of peace between each other before John III's death in 1978.
