Crossbar tension is adjustable, take the scales off and there are different holes for the omega springs farther away to give it less tension. It was a PITA, lots of loctite.
Me, in a far-flung corner of the country who ordered the same knife the same day you did: 💀 Looks great for what it is! I know AR-RPM9 is only marginally better than the 9Cr18MoV it birthed from but still, “competent” at $30 is more than enough for me. I handled a friend’s Hectare at one point and didn’t like their crossbar lock. A later Hectare I’ve handled feels MUCH better and both that and this seem like they reach that same level of “competent” I’m totally okay with. I agree Kizer has one of the best crossbar lock implementations.
