One of the biggest tips I can offer is - build chests to store stuff in. You can build a chest at a crafting table using 25 stone and 25 wood. Each chest only has a limited amount of space, but it seems as though you can build as many of them as you want. You can also place them ANYWHERE, inside or outside your home. I often place some next to my farm to store all my seeds in so I'm not carrying them all around with me in my inventory. The other nice thing is, no matter how many chests you have or where they are placed, they ALL link to your crafting and cooking stations, so if you have a box filled with apples on the other side of the village, they will still appear in your cooking menu, wherever you are. Seriously, just store everything in chests. I've got one for everything. One for fish, one for vegetables, one for fruit, gems, ores/stone, seeds, mission items I can't use right now....everything has it's own box

And one tip, if the characters ask you for something that you already have but they ask you to pick them up again, just put the items on you, drop them, pick them up, and they will be happy
While on the map, you can also click on the character you wanted to find and then magical sparkles will lead you to that character. I find that very useful. 👍👍

We’ll an easy way around this is to fix a well don’t matter what one then go to edit and move the well to the other side of the blockade then just fast travel, you’ll need to fast travel back out but you just skipped one of the biggest challenges starting off
I’m having a blast playing it. Brought Wall-E in to my world and honestly had a nice giggle with his interactions. Wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I do.
Yeah this game was a huge surprise for me in terms of enjoying it. I haven’t gotten to play my switch all summer but this game got me so addicted. I haven’t put my switch down since launch.
If you go to collections tab and look at your villagers, you can also see the gifts of the day so you don’t have to speak to them and find them first and run around to collect the items to gift
Best thing I’ve found so far is dreamlight tasks like buying seeds would take FOREVER if you were actually just buying them as needed. I found that you can just buy 99 seeds and sell them back. Can get over 1000 dreamlight very quickly
For those that find the dreamlight quests overwhelming, focus on the daily duties. They infinitely refill and constantly rotate and give you a bunch of dreamlight for how easy the quest is. The other quests are more meant as milestones and you should unlock most of them as you play but you shouldn't focus on them if you need a bunch of dreamlight, since they get very hard and don't even give you that much dreamlight!
You can also move plants like blueberrys and lemon trees to areas to can already access when dealing with areas that have debris you can remove blocking your path or in my case help you put ALL the harvestable plants by your house

It's shockingly uninspired and seems to be aimed at hipsters wanting to play dress-up more than anything, even my kids turned it off in disgust. Easily the worst game I've played this year.
Word of caution, do not do the Scrooge request to make potted plants at the outside work table. It will not count toward the quest and it will then take you forever to get clay to start it over and then make the potted plants inside Scrooge’s dwelling.
@@bethd.6670 after you make them, go outside the door. Go to your inventory, go to furniture, then at the top of furniture list is the items needed for scrooge or whoever mission you are on, then select that item, and place them on the ground. Took my wife and I a bit to figure out as well.
It's Stardew Valley + Minecraft + Animal Crossing with a story setting like Epic Mickey 2 & Kingdom Hearts. It's cute, fun, and relaxing. It's all about customization, fetch & chore quests, and interacting with Disney characters. It's BUGGY on Xbox, but it is a lot of fun! It's nice to have a non-punishing game. Also, you don't have to pay-to-play. Any paid stuff is purely cosmetic. Filling up your stamina bar is EASY and you can play all day....or in my case, all night XD
I found a glitch doing a quest cleaning up donald's boathouse (sorry for spoiler if u haven't got there yet) one of the awards is stuck between the table and sofa and cannot pick it up

Be wary of the shy robot quest and make sure Scrooge actually gives you the fire extinguisher and takes the garnets before sending you on to get other items, as this will block you from finishing that line.
Only 2 issues I have is dream shards… they’re like impossible to get and unfortunately at the beginning when we were gifted like 40 extra I turned them into dream light because I didn’t know any better lol and then also hardwood!!! It just does not spawn as much as softwood does! I’ve even added an insane amount of trees for it to spawn more but nope.
I went to visit Mickey yesterday and took a seat in his house and I noticed that I started to recharge, the longer I sat the more my status bar went up. Didn't seem to happen in other characters houses though.
My tip to share: When in each biome, buy 50-100 of the best seeds, plant, water, and sell them. Each seed sells for x2 - x3 profit. Money is power in video games.
The best way to farm coins is planting tomatoes. They take like a half hour or so to grow. Yields 3x the amount planted. And gets 1 100$ for every stack of 50.
Loving this game so far. Not sure if it will happen, but I am crossing my fingers and hoping they will add in some Star Wars content down the line. Would love to decorate my house like a Jedi Temple.

Im calling it here guys. My theory for the villain who causes the Forgotten...is none other than...Sora from Kingdom Hearts. Well not villain per se. Maybe his shadow self or perhaps he was being mind controlled or sumthing. That would be frickin' cool! Now it Disney's time to use their end of the agreement with square enix
I love this game but currently stuck with WALL.E and can't give anything to an animal like the squirrel. I was able to before I go to that point. Other than that I'm really enjoying the game. I'm not total nerd when it comes to Disney but it's a great game 😊
Hey! Don’t know if this helps but I was stuck too. 1) Animals can’t be fed all the time, once they’re hungry again you can feed them. 2) If it’s the garnet you’re stuck on, they do reappear so just do other quests before looking for them again. They’re red rocks :)
I think you can only feed an animal once every day. If you’re like me, and the option to interact with them isn’t appearing. (If you’re playing on pc) update your driver and restart before playing again or delete your steam cache. Be aware this will get rid of any mods you have on games so don’t forget that if you try that option. Also I got stuck with Wall E because I collected the stuff but then didn’t have it in my storage when I tried to complete the task. Make sure you have all the stuff you collected on you when trying to complete a quest 😊
I've been wondering, when people say to talk to characters every day or the shop refreshes every day, is that in-game day or real life day? if real life, does it reset at local time midnight?

Per account and while in early access you will have to buy a founder's pack for each account, I believe. The game will be free with micro-transactions once it actually releases sometime in 2023.

Yea this one bugged me a lot. I've been streaming this game on Facebook a lot and most of it is at night time. The only time im at home with work in the day. So yeah me and my viewers are deprived of beautiful daylight sights the game has to offer. Setting your computer clock manually can fix this, but it messes up the harvesting and mining rocks won't respawn once you've collected it...
Do you hit a wall while you wait for more updates before continuing, how far can you go with this early access? Is it worth paying the £25 now or wait to see if it comes to PS+ in the future before Free to Play?
They need to add the ability to switch off having to eat as getting tired and having to eat or sleep just gets in the way of an otherwise relaxing game. Sadly it is stuck at 30 fps even on Series X but do not try this on last gen as the frame rate is abysmal.
i've seen you can feed the squirrels and rabbits. the squirrels like apples and the rabbits like carrots. and they drop something too not sure what it was.
I don’t understand the storage issue. I literally put zero furniture in my house. I have my stove and like 15 storage boxes. 😅 I don’t understand how else to do it. Is there a better way to store items without having 1000 storage boxes?
FInally got Anna "unlocked", then she "disappears". At the upper edge of Dazzle Beach, she is there, somewhere inside the rocks... I go where the map shows her, and she is not there, altough I hear her voice. I cannot interact, and she won't move, just a little sometimes....
On the PC the Cloud is found under Settings/Help. It seemed strange to me, but there it was. I don't know if your Playstation has the same setup, but it's worth a try. Good luck!
Playing on a PC (bought through Steam) and having a difficult time trying to find a complete map of keyboard/mouse controls. Do y'all have a guide on this?
Is anyone else having problems removing the annoying purple mushrooms around the garden. after you a quest from merlin he shows you that you can get rid of the mushrooms with your watering can but after that I couldn't? Hope am not missing something and hope its a bug
So the first time you do that he's just showing you the incantation you have to further the quest along to get it to stay permanent I thought the same thing and I was really upset so I didn't continue the quest for a while and I finally went back and found out that you have to like do the whole storyline to get to that part.
Cloud saves do not work cross platform with PS4/PS5 - I learned the hard way, after buying a second copy on PS5 to be able to cross play from my save on Switch.

Only played this game for 2 days but I'm hooked. Got 9/17 characters so far and only 100 dreamlight away from getting wall-e
Tip - you can just push up towards any entrances (doors, gateways, etc) and you'll automatically enter or exit without having to push a button
After you dig anything up, dig in the exact same spot and it will get rid of the hole

For seaweed fish into the ocean but not on the ripples. You're gonna need a lot
Yup +1 for this. Don't target the ripples, those will nab you fish and other things instead

Find a rabbit during the wall e quest. Follow the rabbit 3 to 4 cycles of it running away. Give the rabbit a carrot. Boom, quest done

(If you’re playing on pc) update your driver and restart before playing again or delete your steam cache. Be aware this will get rid of any mods you have on games so don’t forget that if you try that option.
Also I got stuck with Wall E because I collected the stuff but then didn’t have it in my storage when I tried to complete the task. Make sure you have all the stuff you collected on you when trying to complete a quest 😊

I've been wondering, when people say to talk to characters every day or the shop refreshes every day, is that in-game day or real life day? if real life, does it reset at local time midnight?
What the? GameSpot has 5.04M subs compared to IGN's 16M? I'd think it would be much more balanced than that. Maybe around 10 to 15M for the each of you. You guys here at GameSpot are super fantastic☺.

Yea this one bugged me a lot. I've been streaming this game on Facebook a lot and most of it is at night time. The only time im at home with work in the day. So yeah me and my viewers are deprived of beautiful daylight sights the game has to offer.
Setting your computer clock manually can fix this, but it messes up the harvesting and mining rocks won't respawn once you've collected it...

They need to add the ability to switch off having to eat as getting tired and having to eat or sleep just gets in the way of an otherwise relaxing game. Sadly it is stuck at 30 fps even on Series X but do not try this on last gen as the frame rate is abysmal.
I don't think you have to sleep? I just walked into my house and it instantly refilled my energy. I'm still pretty close to the beginning though.

FInally got Anna "unlocked", then she "disappears". At the upper edge of Dazzle Beach, she is there, somewhere inside the rocks... I go where the map shows her, and she is not there, altough I hear her voice. I cannot interact, and she won't move, just a little sometimes....

On the PC the Cloud is found under Settings/Help. It seemed strange to me, but there it was. I don't know if your Playstation has the same setup, but it's worth a try. Good luck!

Is anyone else having problems removing the annoying purple mushrooms around the garden. after you a quest from merlin he shows you that you can get rid of the mushrooms with your watering can but after that I couldn't? Hope am not missing something and hope its a bug

@@justinbrinkmeier3113 I figured it out get merlin to level 8 to remove the small mushrooms and level 10 to clear the big ones
So the first time you do that he's just showing you the incantation you have to further the quest along to get it to stay permanent I thought the same thing and I was really upset so I didn't continue the quest for a while and I finally went back and found out that you have to like do the whole storyline to get to that part.
