What is hands down your favorite character design?
Ichigo or Jotaro. For me it’s hard to pick between the two.

Characters designs can really make characters a lot more memorable
One piece, Jojo, bleach and blue lock just have so many memorable characters in my opinion, not just in their respective animes but in manga too
AOT, Vinland saga and Demon slayer have some of my most favorite character designs ... I especially love askeladd and Thorkell's designs they just so cool and interesting ... Awesome video by the way!

Bleach, Jojo’s, MHA, and One Piece easily got some of my favorite character designs of any manga. Having just finished the anime for the first time last night, I’d throw Gurren Lagann in there as well 👍 bunch of series got awesome designs 🔥

I'm not an animator and never will be, but I am a writer, and when I'm coming up with a character design, I always think about what they're about and try building their image around that. For instance, one character of mine is both an ex-soldier and an inventor. So, I gave him short, unruly hair, a more toned physical appearance, a pair of goggles that he's always wearing on his forehead, a utility belt for tools, a small pouch for storing small experiments, and a pair of black combat boots he used to wear while in active duty, with the red jacket and black pants being there to help round out the overall design.
That animation studio carries Demonslayer so hard.

I actually have a character, "Pizza Demon Chan" who has many pizza related details to her design.
More interestingly however is how her pre-transformation design is intentionally dull and dark in it's coulour pallette. She's not meant to stand out before she transforms, in fact quite the opposite. She'd much rather fly below the radar.
I actually stumbled on this video by accident but WOW it actually blew me away I didnt expect that level of quallity the flow of the editing especially felt so seemless good job Imma binch all your videos now brb haha
I started watching Soul Eater and man.. how in the fuck i haven't give it a shot years ago i don't know xD. After i finish the anime i am gonna start reading the manga because i know the ending is filler. Such a fun little series.
