    i used to hate hip hop in junior high. i was a white skater. i listened to nirvana. I heard Nas for the first time as a freshman in high school and he has been a part of my life since. I feel like he is one of my best friends even though i have never met him. Im 30 years old now and still listen to Nas. His songs give me chills. Nas was sent from god to make the best hip hop the world could ever hear. A one time opportunity I am blessed to have been a part of over the last 15 years.

    @RKG5A5 didn't say this song had a powerful message so don't understand you bringing that up. but you did mention his best work as defined as his best lyricism on that work but you must realize that Nas is more concerned with the Craft of Hip hOP as a whole. once again lyrics help but do not define a song so you can not say a Nas song is the best because it has his best lyrics. like i said we do not see hip hop the same so no point arguing.

  • @1SecondLeft0
    @1SecondLeft0 13 лет назад

    @RKG5A5 dull? dang does everything have to be about the sun moon and stars, astronomical, phenomenal, abdominal, etc.?? I thought music was about listening to the message in the lyrics and not necessarily what words are being said? when you put your self in a box, you limit yourself and are not a true artist. hip hop 360 degrees.

    Nas is up there but pac was the best hands down but stop comparing other rappers on artists videos its all controversial

  • @1SecondLeft0
    @1SecondLeft0 13 лет назад

    @RKG5A5 once i understand? your funny and if you threw your ego away and actually try to Think you would understand that i was saying "brendas got a baby" was not lyrical but still was one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time. that was my point. and with that said maybe You need to relearn ALL the elements. even if you studied poetry you would know that. smh

  • @kasht786
    @kasht786 16 лет назад

    better than pac for me .....im bored of pac now niggas over played him .....nas been slept on

  • @1SecondLeft0
    @1SecondLeft0 13 лет назад

    @RKG5A5 okay i get your logic. so you think "their best material" as far as hip hop is concerned is about how lyrical you are??? do you know that "brendas got a baby" was not that lyrical of a song but was 100% hip hop because it delivered a POWERFUL message. somebody can be lyrical as hell but simultaneously not be saying $hit. now lyricism helps but does not define the Craft. we do not agree because my definition of hip hop is not the same as yours.
