I've spent almost a decade learning how to do this. It's been a lot of trial and error because I had to go with what felt right and sounded like these videos. I'm not as good as the men, but it's a lot of fun being able to do it nonetheless. I love your amazement at it. Anyone can learn it, but it takes a lot of practice.

Two years ago, I've been introduced to Khoomei, Mongolian culture, and Mongolia, which all began with the video of Batzorig Vaanchig singing "Chinggis Khaanii Magtaal." Since then, I've fallen in love with the people, country, and culture, and began to dream to travel there, in hopes of meeting its amazing people, majestic and pristine landscapes, and beautiful cultural heritage. My love for the culture and country has grown so much these days that I've recently given myself a Mongolian name (Influenced from my last name): Алтанбаатар (Altanbaatar). Born of the steppe,
Everywhere in blue-skied Mongolia,

A mind strong as steel,
Like temporal swords,
As powerful as a planetary bird,

Blessed by the sky above,
Possessed half the world,
Engrained is his spirit,
In the majestic and mighty world.
