I've spent almost a decade learning how to do this. It's been a lot of trial and error because I had to go with what felt right and sounded like these videos. I'm not as good as the men, but it's a lot of fun being able to do it nonetheless. I love your amazement at it. Anyone can learn it, but it takes a lot of practice.

Two years ago, I've been introduced to Khoomei, Mongolian culture, and Mongolia, which all began with the video of Batzorig Vaanchig singing "Chinggis Khaanii Magtaal." Since then, I've fallen in love with the people, country, and culture, and began to dream to travel there, in hopes of meeting its amazing people, majestic and pristine landscapes, and beautiful cultural heritage. My love for the culture and country has grown so much these days that I've recently given myself a Mongolian name (Influenced from my last name): Алтанбаатар (Altanbaatar). Love from the United States. 🇲🇳🇺🇸❤

BUT this style of singing I never heard in Ulaan Baator except a little 5min cultural episode in a club. Country folks and nomads express this style of singing. I love it to. Especially the horse music. Polyphonic singing is very mystical. Cool stuff......
