I know! They were literally guarding them! I'm positive the first guy had a gun and he had a mask pulled down over his entire face like a thick nylon stocking! I don't know if I caught that in the pic or not but he did not look friendly at all. He looked very menacing as did the rest that I saw in the back. @@Playsinthedirt yep it's called "the howitzer" it's a long range field gun that fires artillery/mortars @lower velocity and high arching trajectory. My error though it doesn't fire missles lol my son is a marine! If it was freezing that's probably why that guy was wearing a commo mask for warmth , it looked like the black ones I sometimes wear in my vids...(didn't he wave at you)? I don't think it's anything to worry about though my friend. ( the Marines aren't going to attack us, I can guarantee it). It didn't have the huge gun attached and they are used in the field for training purposes but with live ammo. They were probably just transporting the unit/equipment to another marine facility/base lol the Marines are always on the move believe me! I guess I should probably mention that the high today was probably 50 degrees there not counting the wind chill in the back of those trucks. They were not back there having fun. We’re those a type of howitzer being towed by the barrel? As a kid in your area during the Cold War I saw lots of Troop Convoys like that near Spokane. I remember their lights we’re always on and they drove slow. That convoy was humpin and bumpin. Be safe Plays.

Yup they were! They were heading north and I have already come back south! I am too close to Hanford for my liking however. I am in the middle of a divorce! I have noticed in my travels around Oregon and Washington recently that there are many many overpasses and bridges being worked on. Those are MTVRs, I'm sure somebody got their asses chewed for those 7tons not being properly dressed with Marines in the bed. They're up against the side bc that's where the troop seats are. Those trucks are loud and windy asf on a highway. The 'face mask' he's wearing looks to be a neck gaiter, its made to be a wind breaker. Those are Artillery pieces being towed. The tank you saw being towed is what's referred to as a "Water Buffalo" and as the name suggests it transports potable water for the troops. The things you said you saw atop the 'smaller military trucks' were prolly the communication satellites atop the Comms Humvees. The Boxy looking trailers being towed behind the 7tons, those are M593 Trailers, they are used to move cargo. Looks like most of these trucks are empty other than the handful of troops driving or riding. Only a few of those truck looked to have rear passengers, so if it was about equipment security they'd be more spread out. They aren't guarding anything otherwise they'd have their rifles, so don't let your minds go wild. Yes, there's a thing we in the Military use it's called "Slave Cable" its used as a Jumper cable of sorts [this is all public information, you can look it up] for military vehicles since all the trucks run on a 24v system. The connection port for said cables on on the Driver side of 7tons thus the marking... You guys are all bound up about 1 Convoy. If the military 'was moving in on ya'll' it'd be more than one convoy and they wouldn't be bringing literal artillery pieces. They don't have the manpower to make moves like that. Edit: Just watched your other video of the M1083 with a second Water Buffalo, he's prolly so far ahead bc that different model of truck is a 5ton truck [thus is lighter and faster.] Yes we do actually keep 'Potable water' in them, its not maliciously mislabelled. We use those out in the field [where units train, you know to maintain a standing military force to defend our country?..] where there would normally be no other sources of drinkable water at all. These trucks don't have the manpower, the supplies or logistics to be an occupational force. Marines don't occupy, Marine doctrine specifies that they aren't to be used as the Army National Guard.
